We bought a hamster 2 months ago for my daughter. We spent so much money on this hamster from his wonderful cage to all his food and toys just to have him die 2 months later. We did everything and bought everything they told us to. I called Petland that morning that he past and I told them what was going on with him and they said "O he is fine, its sounds like he just needs more ball time". I told them how hes belly seemed to be bloated and that he didn't seem himself. They told me he was fine and that I shouldn't worry. Well needless to say that night when we went in there to get him out to play he had passed away. I now have a daughter that is so heartbroken that she did not sleep at all last night. I am not really sure what he passed from but I think that they should not have these pets out so that everyone can touch them as I think they get sick from the start.
