YWCA Tulsa is a non-profit organization that has been serving the community since 1914. The organization's mission is to eliminate racism, empower women, and promote peace, freedom, dignity and justice for all. YWCA Tulsa offers a wide range of programs and services that are designed to help individuals achieve their full potential.
One of the primary goals of YWCA Tulsa is to empower women. The organization provides resources and support to help women overcome obstacles such as poverty, domestic violence, and discrimination. Through its Women's Resource Center (WRC), YWCA Tulsa offers job training programs, financial literacy classes, counseling services for victims of domestic violence or sexual assault.
In addition to empowering women in the community through its WRC program offerings,YWCA also provides childcare services through its Early Learning Centers (ELC). These centers offer high-quality early childhood education programs for children from six weeks old up until they are ready for kindergarten.
