Youth Dynamics: Unplugging Kids from Technology and Plugging Them into Dynamic Relationships with Others and Jesus

Youth Dynamics is a youth ministry organization that focuses on outdoor adventures to help kids unplug from technology and plug into dynamic relationships with others and Jesus. The organization was founded in 1970 by a group of passionate individuals who wanted to create an environment where young people could experience the love of God through outdoor activities.

The mission of Youth Dynamics is to provide opportunities for young people to grow in their faith, develop healthy relationships, and discover their unique gifts and talents. The organization believes that by providing a safe, fun, and challenging environment for kids to explore the outdoors, they can learn valuable life skills such as teamwork, leadership, communication, problem-solving, resilience, self-confidence, and respect for nature.

One of the unique aspects of Youth Dynamics is its focus on unplugging kids from technology. In today's digital age where children are constantly connected to screens and devices, it's easy for them to become disconnected from real-life experiences. Youth Dynamics recognizes this issue and offers programs that encourage kids to put down their phones or tablets and engage with nature instead.

The organization offers a variety of outdoor adventures such as backpacking trips, rock climbing excursions, canoeing expeditions, snowshoeing treks - all designed to challenge participants physically while also providing opportunities for spiritual growth. Each adventure is led by experienced guides who are trained in wilderness safety protocols as well as youth ministry principles.

In addition to its outdoor programs for youth ages 8-18 years old (and even some adult programs), Youth Dynamics also provides training resources for churches or other organizations interested in starting their own youth ministry program focused on outdoor activities. These resources include curriculum materials on topics such as leadership development or team building exercises.

Youth Dynamics has been recognized nationally as one of the leading Christian-based adventure ministries in the United States. Its commitment to excellence has earned it accreditation through both the American Camping Association (ACA) standards program as well as Christian Camp & Conference Association (CCCA).
