After reading all these reviews before writing mine, I am guessing the other reviewers worked at the home office. As for me and my coworkers on an off-site contract, it has been pure hell. Promise after promise. Worst company I have worked for in 34 years of DoD support.

I worked for Yorktown Systems Group for about a year and a half and this is an AMAZING company! As a contractor, I have been working for a bunch of other companies before them and they are by a mile the best!
They really provide their staff with a positive work environment where people feel valued and appreciated. There are also so many great people at all levels of the company; starting with the CEO, Bryan Dyer, who is a down-to-earth and genuine person. I can honestly say that joining Yorktown really felt like joining a family and everyone was always so supportive of each other! I also found incredible that a company that has been booming so much over the years still find a way to send every employee a personalized card (and a gift card) for their birthday!
While I'm no longer working for them, I surely hope more companies would treat their employees the way Yorktown do. So if you get an opportunity, do join YSG!
