Yellow Tree Theater is no longer the 'hidden gem' of Osseo . . . The talent is amazing. I lived in NYC for six years, seeing many shows . . . Sylvia is still my fave!

Each holiday I anxiously await the production; Miracle on Christmas Tree Lake & A Gone Fishing Christmas are MUST SEES! Jessica Peterson's playwriting is outstanding.

Yellow Tree Theater, is definitely where good stories live!

The Yellow Tree has really stepped up their game this year! I walked out of the last performance of The Royal yesterday feeling I'd made a huge mistake. My procrastination meant I could not get tickets for another night and see it again!
This POWERFUL show about a boxer's climb to the world championship fight had me completely engaged... and they did it without any physical contact or one drop of blood being spilled on stage. It was a gripping story from a different perspective that was staged and acted to achieve maximum impact! One of the best live performances I've ever seen.

We saw Next to Normal last night here in Alexandria at Theatre L'Homme Dieu. It was outstanding!!! The actors voices were all exquisite and the story very thought provoking. What an excellent production and cast! Thank you for an inspiring evening. Thanks for doing what you all do!!

We had a great time, the theater is very intimate and the show was very well put together. I do have one issue, and thats with the online purchase. You are forced to buy online, you cannot reserve seats and pay at the theater, but when you pay online you are charged a 7 dollar convience fee and that should be reviewed by the venue to change. However the show was great, we had a great time and I would go again without question.

Loved the light hearted comedy "Gone Fish in". I laughed until I had tears in my eyes because of the zany, uninhibited performances by the girls in the play. The slow motion fight scene was hilarious. I bought tickets because my hubby and I have been to all the Twin Cities theatres and wanted something free and different. Mission accomplished!

We saw the play Cry it Out on Saturday matinee and were extremely disappointed to hear the filthy language throughout the play. We were with a group of 14 and all were appalled. It was 90 minutes with no intermission. Had there been one we would have walked out. It is a fine little theater but unfortunate that they feel such a production is okay!!

Yellow Tree is perhaps the most delightful little theatre in the Twin Cities. I've been consistently impressed by the artistic excellence of the performance's I've seen there, and so often leave the theatre giddy, warmed, and with a contented smile on my face.

Only started seeing plays here about 4 years ago but wow! What awesome shows they are! The theatre is very quaint but All of that fades away when the show starts. The caliber of actor is no less than that of the larger venues and the intimate setting of YellownTree adds another layer to the experience.

Don't let the suburban strip mall location fool you. Yellow Tree stages some amazing challenging and thoughtful shows. All of their shows are expertly done from set design and lighting to the individual performances. The physical space is like finding an oasis. I highly recommend taking the time to visit this gem.

Small town (Osseo) theatre group with Big City talent & creativity. We have been season ticket holders for over 5 years. Great variety of plays with excellent actors that are winning well-deserved awards for Yellow Tree. If you haven't been there, you are really missing some great entertainment.

We saw The Miracle Worker. It's a very close-up experience. You get to look right in the eyes of the actors. The acting was amazing. I'm not a big "show" guy. But, it kept my attention and I enjoyed the story.
The ticket prices were pretty reasonable. Like thirty bucks for front row seats.
They could use a few more restrooms. But, what theater doesn't . Intermission is only ten minutes.
Jean's and sweaters are acceptable apparel. The seats are comfy patio chairs. So, it's pretty casual. We ate dinner at a restaurant up the block called Nola. I'll save that for another review.
I really like that I didn't have to drive downtown Minneapolis. Parking is free and right by the front door of the theater.

Yellow Tree Theatre is such a great local theatre with high quality productions, performers and an amazing staff! You will love all the productions they offer like the annual holiday show, the comedies, the romantic dramas, and the musicals. The founders of the theatre have a passion for truly bringing stories to life in a small and intimate setting.

This theatre is the BEST value for a family night out, a romantic date and more. I have held corporate events and client parties at the venue too. They handled the catering, food planning, bar and beverage and seating like a world class theatre would. All 100+ of our clients who attended left incredibly WOWed by the production and service of the theatre.
