Good restaurant with big selection of meat entries. Quality of the food is good.
I was very pleased with their food, compared to other persian food places in the bay. Service is also acceptable
I be on this it's customer service zero food is not tasty come compared to anther Persian restaurant .
I took my guest over there I was very embarrassed.
High quality authentic Persian food and welcoming staff. Premium priced eating but worth every dollar spent. Recommended.
Fantastic spot to eat something when in a rush. The service is efficient, rates are fair, good atmosphere. Will come visit again
Horribe disgusting food ,bad service, if you want to live another day don't eat their food
Had chicken kebab. Could be much better. Also pricier
Tasty food, nice atmosphere. Persian tea was great, as was the pistaccio ice cream.
Amazing food, service and good quality food (fresh). Everyone I brought here comes back. Been here many times, love love it.
it is not fast food. for sure. only for people who love good food
This is a legit place to get Persian food. Highly recommend to get their barg (filet).
Average food with high price, but the service was great.
Overall we had a great experience here. We ordered the 3 meat plate combo. The steak I felt was dry and had a flavor I did not care for 2 stars. The chicken and beef kabobs are excellent 5 stars. We also ordered the eggplant dip...10 stars!!! So good!! The bonus surprise was the Persian iced tea. best iced tea I've had in a long time
A top spot for Persian food. It was so appetizing. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. The place has a great atmosphere.
Good quality Persian food. Quaint setting. Limited bar.
Overall good experience; the food was tasty, and the service was fast and friendly. We had the yas special for two and thought thought the chicken had the best flavor. The filet mignon was a little overcooked and had a lamb flavor, and the ground beef was nice and tender. All-in-all the meat was very juicy and tender, but the chicken stood out the most. I would recommend coming here.
Cozy place with good food. I like Yas for its Persian food, but I found their food a bit too salty. I have to add that I generally prefer less salt in my food than many others.
Food was good. Service is very friendly. Menu is mostly kababs, limited in dish variety.
We went to Yas for an event and we were a group of 19 people. They did a wonderful job for us. The food was Great, the service was great, and the presentation was great. We highly recommend this place.
The ground chicken and they ground beef kebabs were fantastic. I love the Shirin polo
rice.
This restaurant has the best kebabs and the ladies who work there are very pleasant and kind! I recommend Yas Restaurant.
It's the best I've tasted. Thanks Yas see you again.
Older building, but the staff is always friendly, the food always good.
Best place to eat Persian food ..its really awesome
Delicious Persian food. Best Mirza Ghasemi I ever had.
Really great food and the owners and workers are very nice.
This was an exquisite experience -- ordered #61. It was a chef special with saffron rice, and steamed chicken. There are cranberries, nuts and some other fruit (pomegranate?) That created a symphony of flavors. It was truly amazing way to wrap a busy Saturday night.
Wait staff was friendly and the service was prompt. We ate right before closing.
I agree with other reviews saying the parking lot is too small and oddly laid out. It's also close to a liquor store, so there may be other traffic vying for parking.
Quiet but well decorated restaurant, moderate quality compare with the price.
Halal meat is served here based on verbal assurance from the staff. I tried the Yas special which is a Kubideh (ground beef kebab) and Cornish Game Hen Kebabs. Pretty good stuff. Also tried the chicken breast kebab. Also good. Comes with a lot of rice and a few pieces of the flat thin persian bread. Only thing which i wish they had was some hot sauce/chutney on the side, for us desis:)! I Got my food to go, so dont know how the service inside the restaurant is, but it looked pretty clean and nice inside. Prices were a little bit more than comparable places. Fast and Friendly service.
Huge helpings of great Persian food. Not the best but above average.
No complaints on staff.
A family favorite. Love the seasoned koobideh (beef meatballs) and the chicken kebabs.
lamb shank was really good, comes in a watery stew/soup along with rice
Would not go again. Food was only okay, nothing spectacular. Service was slow even for a slow day.
Food was good, it is a little higher priced then similar persian restaurants. The restaurant is smaller which creates a more intimate setting. Staff is incredibly friendly, and all in all is a great place to eat.
Tiny, crowded, not hygienic, spider crawling on table, being middle eastern, 3 out of 10 in receipe and food. Dishes not washed properly, prices double then what is mentioned online!!
Less portions comparing any other similar resturant around the area!!!
We always make sure to go to Yaz for our Persian food fix whenever we're back in California. They staff is the best and always take great care of us. We wish they had a location in North Carolina.
The food was really really delicious and friendly hosts and clean. I traveled one and half hour but it was worth it the price was little bit more but overall it was extremely good
Always good here when I come to town. Food always tastes great. Good wine too. The koobideh and the salad shiraz and hummus are the best.
Great food, decent portion. One of my favorite restaurant.
I love Persian food. If you are looking for a good Persian restaurant that s the one I will recommend. The food taste very good and also the staff members are very friendly. I go often there with my husband. Go check it yourself you won t regret
Very bad food. not fresh, It tastes so bad It tastes so bad
Large variety of kababs and other Persian specialties
Is a small place but very nice and clean
The people are friendly
And the food is very good i recommend you to go with the family ....
This restaurant has been my go to restaurant for Persian Shih Kebobs for many years. Today I had my favorite Joojeh the tender pieces Kebob chicken with basmati rice. Both the service and food quality was good and reassuring. Their ground beef or chicken Kebob are also quite tasty.
Beware of price difference between menu available via Google Maps and what s on the restaurant s in house menu. I ordered via phone for a take out dinner. I expected to be charged as per the online menu. However, I was charged almost double for one dish and 50% more for another dish. Not sure who s at fault. It s best for the customer to be aware. I have uploaded both menus with prices.
Low quality food and overpriced. I took 12 people from work here and honestly was embarrassed. I don't mind high priced dishes but only if they deserve. Lamb dish was tasteless. Salmon kabob (tasted like salmon was frozen) only had 4 very small pieces on the skewer and mostly burned. Vegeterian Ghaymeh Bademjoon was just yellow lentil (not quite cooked) with red tomato sauce and one piece of eggplants.
Always great food here. Try the bone-in chicken and ground beef kabobs. You can order individual plates. If you have a group, ask for the kabobs to be served family style.

It has a warm home feeling about it. Service is great. Food is delish. Chicken n koobideh was delish! I will be back...
Low quality food. Overpriced. Charged our credit card three times. this place is committing credit card fraud BEWARE
persian food, very satisfying. Great location to meet with friends. Bring your appetite because portions are large. Kinda of like a cafe in Phoenix that I enjoyed.
Not a good place to take a groups. We arrived at 5:30 and there was no one in the place. There was 10 of us and they suggested family style order to save on costs. We ended up paying far more than if we had ordered individually ($50/person). The Kabobs were burned as they tried to rush a big order at once. The food was mediocre at best and way over priced. The expensive "SALAD" was a head of lettuce placed in a plate and on the side a cut up tomato. You have far better Persian food options in Bay Area. Avoid this one!
Best persian restaurant in the area. By a mile. Very consistent over the years. Even during COVID. Great kabobs!! Love their eggplant appetizer. Go Yas!
Food was delicious. Service could have been a little faster. Overall a great experience.
Persian food, mmm, so delicious. Food was super flavorful.
My first time at this restaurant and food was horrible
Best Iranian restaurant in San Jose. It's even better than Arya and Negin.
Great food, decent portion. One of my favorite restaurant.
Kebobs are awesome! So is the rest of the food, but we don't go here often enough for me to order anything other than kebobs!
It is small restaurant in term of space but the staff are fantastic and the persian food is great!
The spot is great and broad, the food was delicious and the prices were very fair. quick, productive service and very welcoming staff. Highly recommended.
Good Persian food as usual, had the beef kabob combination plate and it had grilled veggies. The regular plates don t have veggies (just meat and rice) which is why I would ve given this place a 4.5 instead. And this place is expensive!!! But the meat is good
Quite horrible. The food barely had any taste. I couldn't eat it. My sister thought the same. She had the shish kabab and the kabab didn't taste like anything (didn't even taste like beef). I ordered the fesenjun. Overall, I would not recommend this place. It's absolutely not worth it to pay such a price for bland food.
