Wisdom Farms is a family-owned and operated farm located in the plains of Colorado. We specialize in raising chickens that are naturally raised, free-range, and hormone-free. Our chickens are raised with care and attention to ensure that they are healthy, happy, and provide the best quality meat possible.
At Wisdom Farms, we believe that the best way to raise chickens is by allowing them to roam freely on our pastures. This allows them to forage for their own food, which results in healthier birds with better-tasting meat. We also believe in using sustainable farming practices that help protect our environment while providing high-quality products.
Our commitment to quality extends beyond just our farming practices. We also take great care in how we process our chickens. All of our birds are processed on-site at our USDA-inspected facility using humane methods that minimize stress on the animals.
We offer a variety of chicken products including whole birds, boneless breasts, thighs, wings, and more. Our products can be purchased directly from us at the Boulder Farmers Market every Saturday from 8am-2pm at 13th and Walnut Street or at Moxie Bread Feed + Seed in Boulder where you can find our delicious eggs.
The Wisdom Story
Our journey began when we received a shipment of chicks from a hatchery over ten years ago. As we watched these little balls of fluff grow into beautiful birds under the warm Colorado sun, we knew that this was what we wanted to do for the rest of our lives.
Over time we learned more about sustainable farming practices and how they could benefit both us as farmers and consumers who want high-quality food without harmful chemicals or additives.
