Brought my father here after he had back surgery. I was thrilled at how attentive and kind the staff were to him and I m glad to say he made a full recovery and was able to home in about 6 weeks. He loved the food and really enjoyed the stay. Thank you everyone at Windsor!
Mike in P.T. likes to play games and act stupid, he does not follow doctors order, all he cares about is billing MediCare, even if it endangers the patients life.
I brought my father to Windsor Rehab after a month-long stay at the hospital. We knew that his prognosis was poor and wanted him close to home. The staff there was so supportive to my whole family while we were struggling with our emotions, and they allowed us to bring in many of the things he loved, so he could be surrounded by familiar items. The care they gave was everything we hoped for, and they continued to support us after his death. I feel that he was surrounded by friends when he passed.
My dad (who is only 59) was told to "just go in the bed" when an aid couldn't find a bedpan for him. He has a wound that needs to be changed twice daily, that smells as though it hasn't been changed once. He's starting to battle cancer and being in a place that cheers him up is vital. Windsor Health and Rehab is not the place. If I could give 0 stars I would.
My Mom a Quadriplegic and a tracheostomy completely bed ridden fell from her bed with severe trauma to the head where she was left for 2 hours on the floor. 2 days had passed before the owner Lara had touched base with my family. In addition the staff is rude the hallways are very gloomy with patients sitting stacked ontop of each other looking sad and miserable in the hallway as vistors make way to see their family. The presence and look of the facility mirrors a prison. I am grateful we have found my mom a better place for care. 5 stars from CMS more like 1 star once I provide my review to the local CMS board as my family continues our investigation.
Really disappointed. When this was a kindred care facility it was excellent. I run an ED which they don't know. They are argumentative, they know very little, it's a nightmare patient scenario.
A wonderful nursing and rehab center i am so excited that this facility is now privately owned and operated
