Location is unbeatable. 2 blocks from National Mall and 2 blocks from White House. Plenty of great food options are walkable and I think what I was most pleased about was the fact that the hotel was child friendly (I had heard otherwise). We had a one bedroom suite with the kids sleeping in the common room on a pull out couch and cot. Room was well appointed and very spacious.

Only downside was housekeeping. We left our first day at 9am. We arrived back at 2pm after a bike tour and lunch to find that our room had not been made up. To their credit, issue did not repeat itself. Would stay again for sure.

Really nice and convenient location. Ali was extremely accommodating and professional and made the stay that much more enjoyable. Hotel is beautiful and the room was very clean and had everything I was looking for. Thank you Ali and I hope to stay at the Willard again!

We stopped at the outdoor patio seating of the Cafe for drinks and a with the family after a long day in DC. The staff was attentive even though we fit the typical tourist look with 4 adults and 3 kids. We were treated as well as any politician that might be eating a full meal. We had the charcuterie and cheese board along with drinks all around. They were both delicious and there were barely crumbs left. The waitress seemed to forget us a bit towards the end but it was approaching prime dinner time so I guess she gets a a little grace. All in all would recommend all though be prepared to have a little sticker shock if you don't benefit from lobbyist kickbacks.

The InterContinental Willard Hotel is an elegant, classic DC hotel. It is a very large hotel located prominently near the White House. They have very nice brunch/tea options along a nicely decorated corridor. The crystal room and the wood paneled room are large, elegant event spaces. There are also numerous event spaces on the lower levels including ballrooms and meeting conference spaces. Staff members were very friendly and attentive.

Absolutely beautiful! True "old D.C." feeling and amazing service. Seriously, everyone on the staff I passed or interacted with said hello to me with a smile. The hotel room was beautiful and spacious. They also have a lovely bar in the lobby that they told me was the 2nd oldest in Washington. I stopped to have a drink and enjoyed the atmosphere very much. Would definitely stay again!

One of the good hotels I have stayed in the USA. I don t usually book in classic designed hotels, but this hotel was a pleasant change. Checkin was extremely fast and easy. The main entrance to the lobby has stairs and luggage needs to be carried. The main lobby is large and has a lot of areas for small meetings. The rooms are quite spacious and you get good amnesties like water bottles and Nespresso machines. Their mini bar is a bit expensive though. Extremely friendly staff and very helpful concierge area. Great location close to the main attractions area in DC.

Great location, great quality, great food.
Feels great! The hotel is doing a great job managing under more strict conditions, but still maintains a beautiful ambiance. Also very close to Old Abbot Grill, go during happy hour for some tasty oysters!

The location of the Intercontinental Willard hotel is perfectly located for your visit to the DC/Capitol area. This historic hotel is absolutely stunning with spacious rooms. Most rooms have 2 double queen beds a desk and a casual chairs and table as well as a desk. They offer turn-down service as well. 50" LG TVs in every room (unfortunately they don't offer movie rentals which was a bummer for the kids). Free in room coffee and tea and some rooms include breakfast. Breakfast at the cafe is excellent, although prices are high as in every hotel. The offer valet parking service and indoor parking. Most attractions and museums are located within walking distance. The White House tour is just 1/2 block away! Perfect! Although the toe was a big disappointment (I will post a review under that header later). I recommend the Willard if you can afford the extra $'s.

Fantastic experience here!

Booked as a weekend getaway and was very satisfied with everything. Staff was helpful and efficient. The property is gorgeous, and the lobby is all original and well preserved. This hotel is right in the heart of DC. Our room was perfect in every sense, everything was super clean and very tidy so you can tell that housekeeping actually takes pride in their work. The bed was quite possibly the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in as well. Making your night better is the fact that the windows are very well insulated from sound so you couldn't hear any street noise.

Fanciest hotel I've ever stayed at. They were all decked out for Christmas. The service was great and the rooms were large. It's definitely an expensive, upscale hotel, but they did it right and the location can't be beat if you want to visit the Smithsonians, white House, etc. Tea time was booked well in advance, so if that is something you'd interested in doing, I'd make reservations sooner than later.

Fabulous welcome, superb service, meticulous attention to detail and an amazing concierge. And all that was when I arrived. With no fuss arranged a quick reservation to an elegant restaurant in an exclusive neighborhood. Have enjoyed an extravagant meal and heading back to the hotel.

I had the opportunity for a three night to stay on property as part of a gala event a few weeks ago. The gala itself (food, facilities, service, etc.) was wonderful. I could not really find fault with our event and would likely recommend a return next year if possible

Staying here is an unmatched experience. I've never lived a 'luxurious' life, but staying at this 5-Star, elegant hotel was a wonderful retreat away from normality. The service is perfect, every staff person is kind and helpful, and the rooms are immaculate. Not to mention, it is so close to everything! There is no better place to stay in D.C.
