I placed a catering order a few days before my wedding, just for an egg stratta bake I could feed the bridal party lunch with the day of the wedding. However, I arrived there and my catering order had gone out with the delivery truck by accident (not to be delivered to us). So I was upset (and about to cry at the counter because of all the stress of the day) since I had planned all of this out beforehand, and was annoyed that a simple error had caused such a headache on the most important day of my life. However, the day was redeemed by the front end staff working the bakery area. They were amazingly nice, apologetic, and made sure that I still had some delicious quiches to feed everyone. For that I thank you guys!!! It wasn't what I had expected, but since everything is delicious there, thank you for making sure you made it right for me on my big day!

The best breakfast I've eaten in a very long time. I'll be back very friendly staff as well.
The baking items are tasty though my beef entree was a little dry and service was lacking that day.
It can be crowded and noisy on weekends, and parking can be an issue. However, service is great and the food is divine. Try the strawberry wedding cake.
Great service, atmosphere, Delicious food, Great variety of Bread, sweets and pastries..
Service was great and friendly, but the food was a different story. I had the French farmer breakfast, for starters the sausage was very dry and almost tasted old. Brule potatoes was mushy and tasteless. I expected a couple of big pieces of bacon but it looked like one piece cut in half. My wife got the beef buorgignnone, and was horrible, all she tasted was wine and gravy and the meat was over cooked. My opinion, stick to baking and cut the menu down by half.
Egg stratta and quiches are great. Also the cinnamon roll
The food is superb and the portions are huge! Try the strawberry wedding cake! Yum!!!
Came here for a work lunch (pretty big group not crazy) and Aleah was so great! Kind, patient, and informative about the menu. So the service is great and the food is WONDERFUL as always. We'll be be back!
Crazy good food, crazy good bakery. What more I'd there to say.
Always good, stick-to-your-ribs food. Wiiiiide variety. Oh and the desserts. Have been tempted to order one of each but buy the bite-sized collections instead.
I was in this morning getting cinnamon rolls and dog treats for my dog. This lady was waiting patiently on a cake and must have been taking awhile so she asked to talk to a manager, well the manager came out and she told the manager she don't think she should have been waiting that long. That manager went the hell off on her BADLY(very very unprofessional) he said he is tired of customers coming in nagging at him and she was saying she wanted the cake delivered to the job(children's hospital) and said NO im not doing that, she asked for a receipt and her money back he did that, but if you are a manager talking to customers like that you DO NOT NEED too be one! I felt so bad for that lady I had to make a bad review on here for her!!!!
Last visit I got a moldy strawberry on my wedding cake!!
I think this plc is awesome and if anyone has anything bad to say. Get off their review page hate when ppl have nothing better to do but write bad reviews
they have the best quiche ever! service can be slow at times, but just know that! food is awesome! Here are just SOME of the menu pages.
This place has amazing food specially they're almond French toast and their slab bacon nowhere else you can get this in town
We arrived at 5:20, there was no wait and only about 6 tables had people sitting down. We waited an hour for our food and then I asked the waiter if our food was almost ready. She said they were putting it on the tray. Ten minutes later I asked to speak to a manager because our food was still not out. I told him that my family was leaving because our food still hadn t come out. I told him that we d watched the entire restaurant fill up, people get their meals, eat and leave while we still waited. He said, we are working hard. What do you want me to do about it? Then preceded to talk to another waitress. I would not recommend this restaurant. The wait on our food was insane and the manager absolutely didn t care that I was upset or that my kids were hungry. Waiting an hour and twenty for food from a family restaurant is ridiculous. If I were allowed to give them no stars, I would.
Salads were sadly forgettable. But the breads and pastries were amazing. Staff was very nice and helpful. Best for lunch.
If I could give zero stars I would. My 85 yr old Grandma had ordered two dozen pecan rolls to be picked up for Easter, after talking to several people including a manager no one seemed to know where the order slip was and also didn t seem to care. The owner, Ron, was extremely condescending, incredibly rude and even told her to make the Pecan rolls herself. I can t believe the disrespect that was shown to an elderly customer. It seems like this place could use a touch of class and a crash course in decent customer service.
My mom s go to place for healthy bread and pastry options. They still serve good old fashioned dishes at reasonable prices and huge portions. Overall a great place for brunch.
Always great food and the service is always friendly and courteous.
Foods always fantastic, but that doesn't matter because the service is horrible, I don't know why, I've seen people at the table next to me sit down after me, get their food before I've put an order in. It seems to have to be a regular or you don't matter.
Stopped by to pick up the Pie of the Month special. Always a winner.
Literally my go to bakery at all times! I try something new every time and it's always amazing.
Ordered a pan of chocolate brownies for the elementary school teachers and they loved them. Picked up a few extra goodies for the teachers while I was there. They have a vast selection of items to choose from. Everything is fresh and delicious. The prices are reasonable and I love getting an angel food muffin for my ride home!
I had the chicken and waffles, so good. But they didn't tell us certain things were extra like the slab or the hasbrowns. My first time and I was surprised on the price, little expensive for breakfast lol but food was good when I reheated it too
The food was great. Salads are huge. Crab lobster Benedict fabulous. And Neyome was great.
Ordered a half strawberry/half olala chocolate cake. Cake was wonderful. I would have given it a 5 star but the name was spelled wrong on it. They even wrote the correct spelling on the order ticket but spelled it wrong on the cake.
I don't go out for breakfast very often, but this is one of my favorite places to go when I do.
Very good food. Anything I order there I absolutely love. The only problem I've ever had is going on Sunday mornings. It tends to get very busy after during the church rush
There were no COVID regulations in place. No social distancing and many workers not wearing masks. I was uncomfortable the whole time and if not meeting out of town family members, I would have left and had lunch elsewhere. So beware if trying to follow COVID recommendations. Service was on the slow side as well.
Discourages their employees from wearing masks during a pandemic.
Delicious food and the Sunroom was so charming. Beautiful casual atmosphere.
Omg. The cranberry apple strudel is out of this world good.
Everytime i visit from Belgium, I have to eat breakfast here. Awsome place
Great fried chicken and amazing baked goods/dessert
Heard great things about the strawberry wedding cake. 4 stars for me. It was very good.
The interior is beautiful with a great looking assortment of baked goods.
I really need to try more items from this bakery.
Service was friendly and polite.
It's conveniently located near the trader Joe's.
Parking is available in a large lot shared with others. This restaurant is a little off to the side. We had a little difficulty finding it, but Google maps helped direct us further into the corner.
Place is a zoo. Standard bakery dining. Nothing special.
This place is a must go every time in in Omaha. The food is always delicious and more than I can finish. I love that I can eat inside, but feel like I'm outside in a garden. They also have a huge bakery so you can take some treats home with you.
This place is a fat kids dream...I can say because I'm a fat kid and I literally dreamed of this place! So many sweets!
Excellent food excellent service I've been there twice in a week while staying in Omaha, and I'm returning soon so I will continue to go back to wheatfields.
Clean and friendly. Cute atmosphere. Friendly staff.
Just go for the sweets and always so tasty! Great selection,
The classic family dinner spot. Between the portion size and the bakery you are definitely packing something home.
Ordered two party trays from Wheatfields in Papillion for a total of a little less than $100. The meatballs tasted good but they were ice cold in the middle and the finger sandwiches were not so good. On the plus side when ordering and picking up the people beyond the counter were helpful and kind but I won't go back.
While they are primarily a bakery, Wheatfields has probably the most delicious daily soup bar in Omaha. In particular, their cheesey tomato soup is delicious. However, if your hungry at breakfast, I will always recommend the Lobster Egg Benedict.
Food was excellent. Had to wait close to an hour to get our food.
It was a disappointment today. We were ignored by the wait staff. Sat for 20 minutes before being offered a glass of water. We have always enjoyed this place but it will be a long time before we even attempt a visit. Too bad.
Wheatfields is good. The food is usually quite delicious. You just have to order well to make sure you get your money's worth. I highly suggest the cinnamon rolls!
The food was excellent, blueberry pancakes were delish. We were seated in a booth right that had a leaky ceiling right next to it from a rain storm. The place was pretty much empty and the waiter knew the leak was there ( he pointed it out to us!) so not sure why we had to sit right next to it....
Called ahead to put our name in the list for setting. We were told that due to Covid seating 7 people would be no problem. When we got there, the hostess told us that they couldn t seat us all together but if we waited she could get us together. Then she tried to seat us at a table for 5. She got irritated when we told her that we wouldn t for at the table. We ended up waiting about 45 minutes. The food better be good.
Service was good, and food had plenty of flavor. Friendly atmosphere and we were served quickly. Only issue was that the food was sometimes overbaked.
Dinner was really good. Services was good, I thought it was a little pricey
This is one of my favorite places to eat in Omaha. There's so many options on the menu that I'm able to get whatever I'm in the mood for whenever we go.
Love coming here for brunch! Can get busy around 11-1 on a Sunday. Worth the wait though.
Portions are huge, and I think the prices were right inline for what you were getting. Our server was speedy and attentive.
Great food. Wonderful service. Great honey fried chicken dinner
We make Wheatfields a meeting place every time we come to Omaha! Everything is better than the last thing I had! Mmmm yummy!
One of my favorite Omaha restaurants. I suggest the lobster or crab eggs Benedict. If you are craving chocolate try the Katherine Hepburn bar! The strawberry wedding cake and caramel apple pie are pretty close to perfect.
Oh my, breakfast is wonderful! Brulee Waffles (no syrup necessary!) and be sure to upgrade to the slab bacon - the best!
So I might catch a little flack from this, but it is just okay. It never really knocks my socks off, but better than average. All the items on the menu have a little twist. Some are great and others meh not so much. Breakfast I would like to have a few more basics. I know sounds lame, but different strokes for different folks. The service is good. The kitchen is terrible slow making it not kid friendly. When I think of wheatfields the place you take Grandma after church to lunch.
We love this place! Spending breakfast with friends here is a celebration.
Always incredible breakfast food. Biscuits and gravy or french toast are top notch
Love it! Good food great service, even when I dint know what I wanted.
Friendly staff. Delicious pastries. Fresh ,substantial and savory salads .
After being told for weeks that we would have the sun room for a baby shower, they told us it was closed when we got there. Waitress refused to wear a mask even though my grandmother (88) was high risk. They even tried charging us $3 a person for a cake we brought. Worst service ever. 25 mins for hot water for tea. I hope the health department comes and they get fined. Ridiculous and rude staff. Do not recommend.
Sloppy Joe's. Or the blt. Cant go wrong. I highly recommend you leave room for dessert.
Typically, I'm pretty impressed by Wheatfields, but a recent visit left me not too sure if I would like to return. Placed a to-go order over the phone 20 mins in advanced to my arrival. Upon arrival I waited probably 3-5 mins for a staff member to ask, "Have you been helped?" My food was not ready yet (23-25 mins after placing the order, which I was told it would take 10 mins), nonetheless I went ahead and paid.. I waited in the store for an additional 15 mins. I paced around and watched several others not be helped and wait around. Finally my food was done and I was told that the cook forgot that fries came with my meal. Although the quality of food is always great, the wait time at this particular location for pickup and drop ins seem to be a little longer than I'm comfortable with.
Loud noisy commercial chain restaurant. Nothing special and overly sweet plates. Won't be back and won't recommend.
Was sat at a table promptly but then sat at the table for at least 15 to 20 minutes without being acknowledged. Several people were seated and served that came in after us. Ended up leaving due to no service. Would not recommend
My wife and I used to be regulars at Wheatfields at one Pacific Place. The booths have become lumpy and out dated. The food is okay and the help is usually very good but there is no attention to detail and it seems cleanliness has become an issue. We start to just stop to pick up dessert, but the last few times the prepackaged sweet rolls were stale. Unfortunately we are at a point where there are too many very good restaurants in Omaha to pay for poor quality.
Wonderful place to eat. They have the best cream cheese strudel. Everytime I come to town from Arizona I stop there.
I didn't have the chance to try the restaurant, but the bakery was quite nice. There were large assortments of different sweets and snacks, and even some gluten-free items.
I had to rely on my significant other for opinions about the items that contain gluten, but it seemed like they were a mixed bag. They averaged out to good quality with solid pricing, but her general criticisms were that things were either too rich or too sweet, with occasional items being a nice balance. She especially liked the strud el dough and the assorted dessert trays that allowed for a little bit of everything.
The gluten-free wedding cake is really good. It has a lighter than most gluten-free cakes and has a sweet but light and fluffy frosting. It's one of the standout items they have and is better than almost any other gluten-free cake I've had. They also have some other gluten-free items, but many of them were sold out when I arrived, but I did get to try a le mon and a banana nut bread loaf. Both were more your typical dense chewy gluten free bread base, but their flavor profiles were solid, with the lemon frosting icing working really well with the sweeter bread base for the lemon loaf.
The macarons are also a nice gluten-free treat. There are better macarons out there, but they are also usually much more expensive. The flavors were pretty standard, but that makes them a consistent treat that's affordable and also enjoyable.
They are always busy, which tells you how good the food are
