Western Fair District

We were here for the Western Fair. It was fun and had lots of stuff to do. Lines were good for the rides.

It was great to see the food trucks out i really miss the food at the festivals in Victoria Park. I found the food extremely overpriced for the proportions.

Awesome Summer Send Off! I Had A Great Time At The Western Fair. The 33 Degree Weather Set The Stage For An Amazing Day At The Fairgrounds. Amusement Park Offeres Screams And Thrills For All Ages. The Fair Offers A Bit Of Something For Everyone, Rides, Games, Live Stages Shows Lots Of Deep Fried Stuff And A Few Healthy Food Options. They Are Lemonade Aid Stands And Other Beverages As Well As Beer Tent.

The Western Fair Is A Great Local Event To Wrap Up The Summer Without Driving Hours Away!

Busy, and not a lot to look at, but people are friendly!

I enjoy going to the Western Fair district for different events or whatever might be going on here but I do have a service dog and sometimes it can be very stressful going here because not all Western Fair District employees are aware of what a service dog is or the rights I have to be able to bring my service dog in with me and I've been given a hard time and once even told I had to leave with my dog or police would have been called even though I politely explained to them that she is a service dog and that she is allowed to be with me everywhere for medical reasons. I know what my rights are and I did not leave I simply said if you need to call the police on me because I have my extremely well behaved service dog with me then you do what you think you need to do. I and my service dog were detained by Western Fair District employees for about 30 minutes until finally someone who knew the laws and understood that I had a service dog and that my dog was absolutely allowed to be with me everywhere I was finally allowed to continue to shop at the event I was at but I was not given an apology or anything like that at all I was simply let go to continue on shopping. Bottom line if you have a service dog be prepared for the likely possibility to be detained because they obviously do not inform their employees of service dogs and or the rights the service dog handler has to have the dog accompany them everywhere with you.

We always enjoy our time at the western fair! We've had a couple difficult years with some kids only being tall enough for kiddie rides and others too tall for the kiddie rides LoL but we always have fun

Worst fair yet . Just cause they space things out don't make it great. I miss the fair of the 80"s two kiddie lands animals shows more community participation. It was the Western in western fair. For the money I spent should have went to Canada's Wonderland

The people at the gate inside the building we're extremely rude! Tickets were expensive which was unnecessary but overall it was a good time (Western Fair)

Had a great time at Little Ray's exhibit & shows during March break. The staff/handlers were very informed & knowledgeable. The ladies that ran the shows were funny, patient with all the kids questions, engaging & very willing to share all the details of what makes different animals so unique. We had an excellent time & look forward to next year!

At the arena with my grandson for summer hockey and hockey camps. Great facilities. The camps are very well run. Full restaurant upstairs.
We were there for the farmers market that runs on the weekends. Decent selection but the prices are somewhat higher than other markets. Parking is free and there is no shortage of it.

A great place to spend an hour or two, explore some craft work, clothes, get some farm fresh products and eat

I was here for the Lifestyle Home Show. Always a great location for events and shows.

The fair, is a Waste if money... Go to Canada's Wonderland or Toronto. But the Western Fair market is Great.

Exercise class with Alex at Make it Happen project A+++, Saturdays hit the farmers market for fresh veggies and wonderful food including fresh bread. Special events at the Agriplex are fun

Never been the the Western Fall fair before, and never will again. Mostly overpriced kiddie rides and gut-rot inducing fast-food stands. The actual displays that you would expect to visit were shoved to the back, with pathetic number of submissions, and not accessible to those with disabilities.

Very fun. Would do it again :) Fast pass is very worth it!

Nice market.... Be sure to visit the second floor.... Lots of artisan booths.

Wow is this place ever busy there's everything you need in the way of food and lots more trinkets close a lot of things that a consumer needs most people are very friendly as are most of the shop owners it's a busy place so you need to move fast but it's a good place to shop and conveniently located on Dundas Street also I enjoy seeing the train every time I go there

Great Saturday market. Something for everyone and at every price point.

It's expensive and just really not worth it. It really could be better.

Staff are very friendly and have safety guidelines in place do to covid-19 and are very respectful to all citizens and customers

I love the Western Fair! I have gone every year but one, in the past 35 years. There is so much to see, smell and hear. Every year they add something different for wee ones to expend their energies in safe, free and interesting environments. I highly recommend buying the wristbands. Food choices abound.

It's been a while since going as a kid, always remembering going there in the fall, even though it's expensive and tacky, it's super fun for the kids

Home and outdoor show was very disappointing very few exhibitors and displays no fancy garden landscaping displays etc

This is my first time here. Enjoyed the Buffet and horse racing. Casino later in the night and Hockey next day. Had a fantastic time !

Fanshawe college decided to have their convocation there! Had family drive down from Montreal to attend. Quite disappointed that it smelt like manure and urine throughout the entire ceremony. Maybe Fanshawe just chose a bad venue for convocation. Otherwise, it's a pretty big location with alot of parking which can be a huge perk.

The fair has gone way downhill. Seems like a cash grab more than ever

Used to be fun for everyone, but has become exclusionary.
There is absolutely nothing there for you if you are an adult without children.

I work Western Fair days in September, great time to be had by all.

Very inaccessible if you have low vision poor signage fair not great value for.money

Great experience with our granddaughters. Glad we ordered our tickets in advance online.

Western Fair continues to go downhill. This was my 1st visit in 10 yrs and it's gotten even smaller then it was back then. They keep selling off land for other ventures. Its a good thing they didn't get the casino deal or the fair would have ended up being smaller than a city block. I still remember when I was a kid and was a big deal to go to the fair as it was so big you needed almost all day to see it all. Now it takes an hour. The only real fair left around is the Norfolk County Fair in October. Well worth the drive.

Less and less to see at the Western Fair every year. Hardly any animals. Only rides.

Go for the slots, never win... win or lose turn to booze!
