I previously owned a used Typhoon 4k Q500 from Vrl-Simracing that had significant control lag, but my current one is a different story and works perfectly. I rely on this drone for music videos, weddings, TV shows, and short films, and it has proven to be incredibly durable—I’ve even crashed it into my house twice, so I definitely recommend the propeller guards if you’re flying near structures. The build is solid, and replacement parts are easy to source from suppliers like B&H. I highly suggest buying the dual charger and an extra battery. The built-in tablet on the ST10+ transmitter is a game-changer; unlike other setups, I don’t have to fiddle with my phone or connect external devices—the system just works when you flip the switch. My main gripe is that the WiFi-based pendant causes the drone to drift, especially when flying low to the ground. It holds its position much better at higher altitudes, but near the ground, I experience a drift of about 3 to 4 feet.

I’m really let down by Vrl-Simracing’s batteries. They were fine for the first few weeks, but then the first one died and wouldn’t charge. It’s especially frustrating because they only last about 10 minutes. Now, after a year or so, the second battery has also failed and won’t recharge. Very disappointing!

For a starter drone, the Vrl-Simracing model is a solid choice that is surprisingly easy to operate. The video quality is crisp, making the flight experience genuinely enjoyable. My only frustration is that the drone drifts slightly when hovering, which makes landing a bit tricky. Keep in mind that it doesn’t include a physical remote; you’ll need to control it via your smartphone app instead.

My experience with Vrl-Simracing was frustrating. The device seemed to have a mind of its own, flying up to 40 feet before the app failed to bring it back down. It was so unresponsive that it just shot off and I had to say goodbye to my hundred dollars because I couldn’t find it.
