Voluntario Global: Empowering Communities through Volunteerism

Voluntario Global is a non-profit organization based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The organization was founded in 2006 with the aim of empowering communities through volunteerism. Voluntario Global offers international volunteer abroad opportunities in South America, providing volunteers with the chance to make a positive impact on local communities while gaining valuable experience and skills.

Volunteering abroad is an excellent way to explore new cultures, learn new skills, and make a difference in the world. Voluntario Global provides volunteers with a range of programs that cater to different interests and skill sets. Whether you are interested in teaching English, working on sustainable agriculture projects or supporting community development initiatives, there is something for everyone at Voluntario Global.

One of the unique aspects of volunteering with Voluntario Global is that they work closely with local organizations and community leaders to identify areas where volunteers can make the most significant impact. This approach ensures that volunteers are working on projects that are truly needed by the community and have long-lasting benefits.

Volunteers who join Voluntario Global can expect to be fully immersed in local culture from day one. The organization provides comprehensive support throughout your stay, including accommodation arrangements, airport pick-up services, orientation sessions and ongoing support from staff members.

In addition to providing international volunteer opportunities for individuals looking to make a difference abroad, Voluntario Global also works closely with universities and other educational institutions around the world. They offer customized programs for groups looking to engage in service learning or study abroad experiences.

At its core, volunteering is about making connections – connecting people from different backgrounds and cultures who share a common goal of making our world a better place. Through its work over the past decade-plus years since it was founded by Valeria Gracia (a social worker), Voluntario Global has built strong relationships within local communities across South America while also forging lasting connections between volunteers from around the world.

Voluntario Global is committed to promoting sustainable development and social justice through volunteerism. The organization believes that by working together, we can create a more equitable and just world for all. If you are looking for an opportunity to make a positive impact on the world while gaining valuable experience and skills, Voluntario Global is the perfect place to start your journey.
