Vine & Olive

I gave Vine & Olive in Sandusky a full five stars after trying their gyro. On Mondays, it is an incredible bargain at just $5. The ingredients taste incredibly fresh, and while the portion of meat isn't massive, it is perfectly satisfying.

Visited Vine & Olive recently and had a less than welcoming experience. The cashier, likely Cathy, was notably curt—no greeting, no check-in, just silence. I kept my quiet, too. After handing over payment, she just handed me the bag without a simple pleasantry like “have a nice day.” It’s a shame because my husband and I usually enjoy their sweets, but this interaction makes me hesitant to return. Hopefully, she has better days ahead.

Vine & Olive is a fantastic specialty shop in Sandusky offering an impressive selection of authentic Greek and Mediterranean groceries and cheeses. The inventory is extensive and beautifully arranged. Staff members are incredibly warm and helpful, making the shopping experience a pleasure. Highly recommended for anyone seeking genuine Mediterranean products.
