Vidwala provides independent producers of web series or any episodic shows a mobile focused distribution and monetization platform.
Vidwala apps allows fans to enjoy free episodes, downloads for off-line viewing and make in-app purchases for premium content to increase sustainability of their favorite shows. Producers set the price for their premium content. By bringing the ease of in-app purchase to the indie content space, Vidwala is empowering indie content ecosystem to be sustainable. Before Vidwala, an indie producer could only seek donations or crowd-funding thru sites like kickstarter. Without engaging their fanbase in a marketplace manner, they effective have no financial sustainability.
Between UGC focused YouTube and big budget focused iTunes, there is an awesome growing marketplace for indie content, which needs Vidwala to help producers with financial sustainability and amazing content discovery on mobile devices
