Vaco Orlando

I started with Vaco Orlando maybe a month ago, I have had nothing but a POSITIVE outcome. Ms. Stacy is my representative and I have had nothing but GREAT communication between her and the company. She has done everything to find me a job since I have moved to Orlando. I am happy to say that she has found me a placement that I really enjoy! I just think people expect a temp agency to find them a placement within 24 hours of them applying, but it takes time for them to make sure they match you up with the best company that fits the skills that you bring to the table.

Great people! It took some time to find something fit for me but they did. I am happy with my new position and even more happy to be apart of the Vaco Team. I am emailing you this complaint to show you how disappointing I am with your recruiting staff company .
I just received a call by one of your consultants called "Krist' because I've applied for one of your job positions in Orlando-FL area.
She asked me if do I have work authorization to work in USA? And I do , but when I said that I don't have permanent residence and that I was in an immigration process , She backed out.
She told me would it be necessary talking to the company's hire manager to double check about that.

Let me tell you something - THIS IS DISCRIMINATION and I'd advise you check the USCIS website with the respective law.
You can't discriminate me or any candidate because of my immigration status as long as I have work authorization to work in this country .

-Immigration Status Discrimination occurs when an employer treats an individual differently based upon their citizenship or immigration status.

-An employer should not ask about your citizenship status during a job interview. The employer can only notify you as a job applicant that, should a job be offered to you, you will be expected to provide evidence that you are legally entitled to work in the US within the first three days of starting work. The employer should say this to every job candidate, as saying this selectively may be illegal discrimination.
Generally not. A U.S. citizens-only policy in hiring is illegal. An employer may require U.S. citizenship for a particular job only if it is required by federal, state, or local law, or by government contract.

-You are a temporary resident with work authorization, but a company denies you employment because it doesn't want to deal with the hassle of filling out the appropriate paperwork.

I was in the process of moving from Chicago to Florida and reached out to Vaco to see if there were any job openings in Orlando at the time. Mark was great to work with and within a couple of days, he had lined up multiple phone interviews as well as started the process for lining up live interviews. He made sure to relay my scheduling issues to the companies and planned my interviews very will - There were 5 interviews in 2.5 days, including one last minute add on. I would definitely work with Mark again and would recommend working with Vaco for your job search in the Orlando area.

You can't trust Vaco Orlando Staffing anymore than you can trust a no name Google user review written by some marketing spammer. The only positive review is obviously spam. Take the real reviews to heart. These guys are slippery. Partner with a legitimate recruiting company that is interested in your success. There are much better recruiters in Orlando.

It has been a pleasure working with Brian Yankelevitz at Vaco Orlando. He is clearly knowledgeable and well-suited for recruitment. He has been quick to respond to my questions, and has been a calming presence throughout this process. I have worked with recruiters in the past that seemed to be satisfied with placing me anywhere they could, presumably to move on to the next placement. I got the sense that Brian wanted to place me somewhere that was just as good of a fit for me as for the company--that's exactly how it should be and that's how you build a solid reputation. If I or a colleague ever needs job placement in the future, Brian will be my first call.

Vaco staffing is constantly emailing me with positions available with the experience I have. But when I respond to the email I get no calls back or response from the email. Sally was the original recruiter and every time she reaches out to me she tell me what s available I accept and I never hear from her again now it s Jorge Castro doing the same thing. As a recruiter even if you do not have work for the individual or you wish not to move forward that should be expressed to the potential talent instead of leaving them in the air and not responding after you have spoken to one about current openings . I will not recommend anyone to this temporary service company.

This is a great company, I recommend them to any company looking for staff. Laura is truly a blessing. She helped with every step of the way. She always kept in contact with me. She gave me a better future.

Kyle , Tim and his team are very helpful . I don't know why people are giving them bad reviews. I would highly recommend those people who are talented and looking to get a job.

Malinda sent me on an awesome job first time. They have already offered me a permanent position when my contract is up!

Fantastic service, and great people. Had me into a great job the same day I went in to see them.

Do not recommend. Jason Day (Orlando,FL) was my recruiter and I must I was very disappointed. Very little communication throughout process. I had to call and text him constantly for updates. Vaco gave me the impression they don't care at all about the applicants and don't even care to follow up after an interview. If the person didn't get the job you should tell them and not cease communication altogether. If looking for an agency I would recommend Randstad ( formely known as Spherion) instead. Shame on you Jason.

Although they are in the business of recruiting, they don't seem to take an interest in new talent or actively market them. Heck, you can't even get them to reply to emails! Not very professional...Have already seen turnover in just the few months since I signed up.

I have been with vaco for 9 yrs on a single contract. The staff are very professional and treat you like a family. They always go above and beyond to appreciate me and the work I do. Would recommend to everyone.

I have worked contracting for 20 of the last 30 years & Vaco (Beau) is one of the worst.

They don't answer their phones! I received a call about a job offer..called them back at least 12 times today..no answer...just told to leave a message in the 'general' mailbox via automation.

Grace Nix at Vaco was able to put me in front of decision makers in some of Orlando's most admired companies. Vaco's interview prep, follow up and follow through are exemplary. I'm glad to have Vaco Staffing part of my Recruiting team!

I had a wonderful first interview. Laura spent close to an hour with me as we reviewed and revised my resume to appeal to possible employers and really got down to what kind of job I wanted. I had an assignment almost immediately and now, through Tracy, who I love, has got me placed in a long term position. This is the best experience I have had with a staffing agency in years.

Very unprofessional. Lied to me about being contacted by a second account manager, then I get e-mailed the same position a week later. Tried to contact them again only to be brushed off with the same lie. Don't waste your time, there are better recruiters in the area.

The same day you apply you'll get a call from them to set up an interview. After your interview they say they'll email the required tests but you wont receive anything and won't hear from them again. Complete waste of time like every other "Job agency"

Everyone was very welcoming and helpful. I applied on Wednesday, received a call Thursday for an interview, interviewed Friday and had another interview scheduled by that afternoon for a position. I interviewed for the position the following Wednesday and got the offer that afternoon. Very fast process. I would recommend them to anyone, anytime! Great team!

The staff was friendly and very welcoming from the moment I stepped into the office. Vaco is one of the 1st hiring agencies that I ve worked with that actually helped me find a job within a matter of days! All the other agencies I ve worked with just placed me in their system and I never heard back from them but not Vaco!

Do not waste your time. Went to an open house. They spoke bad about one of my previous employers and never got back to me. I get emails but never even got the headshot (taken on an iPhone). This was promised.

I had an interview with the recruiter back in April and stayed in touch with her before I relocated. She contacted me about a job opportunity and sent the Microsoft test to my email and I havent heard from her since. They are a sorry recruiting company and I wouldnt recommend them to anyone even though I was recommended to them by someone. NO COMMUNICATION OR INTEREST SO PLEASE STAY AWAY!!!

I signed up with Vaco, I only received one interview. I applied for multiple jobs on indeed that were represented by Vaco. Never received a call back. When I did call or text they would say our team is working on some positions for you right now and I would never hear back from anyone.

Vaco has placed me in my previous 3 permanent roles. Beau and Mason at Vaco Orlando are top tier professionals in the recruiting field. I don't know how they achieve the stellar results, but you can trust they will find the right opportunity for you!

Called several times before i could get some one to interview me. First interviewer stated another individual would call me from a different division, they didn't. Emailed interviewer and told them i hadn't received phone call. They called afterwards stating they would send me application to fill out. Called them and left message i hadn't received application, haven't heard anything from them. Horrible Communication Skills.

I started off with Vaco after relocating back to Orlando. They did find me something right away and I didn't have to take a drug test or do a background. They will literally hire anybody. I'm just saying.. What I dislike is that. YOU CAN NOT REACH ANYBODY!!! You will call everyday early in the morning and nobody in the office answers the phone and nobody responds back to emails.

Recruiters were serious and earnest about finding me a job. Emails and calls were timely and I appreciated their efforts.

Would not recommend this company what so ever. Offered a position from the director of operations herself (Joan) was supposed to have my paperwork completed and was told I would start on Monday. Joan then forgot to complete my paperwork as she was at another branch which I though okay no problem I understand people get busy. Was in contact in with her over the weekend then was canceled for no logical explanation as I was over qualified for the position with experience and education. (Also, no criminal record or anything that would dq me from this employment opportunity) Very disappointing and very hurtful to myself after being told the position was mine and I would be starting. I hope that Joan is able to lead by example in the future and be mindful of the words that come out of her mouth are the truth rather then false offers. I do hope she is held accountable.

Beau and his team has been a great recruiting asset for my recruiting needs. They've been sincere and in depth in finding what I need and I have been using them for years. Several times when I needed a recruiter, I would immediately call Beau to which he would look for the people I needed. I can tell you also that I am not an easy person to recruit for as I look for the best of the best. I fully give my stamp of approval for Vaco.

The recruiter in Miami Lakes is the worst to deal with. Very unprofessional. Though the staff in Orlando were great. They need to screen there recruiters better.

Back staffing is a non- promising company. Always positing job ads and never hire anyone that has the full experience that they are looking for. Very judgmental on how you dress. Sally Christopher is a recruiter that is in constant contact with My family member, sally is always saying she has jobs but never calls anyone back for a position. This is by far the worst staffing company there is when it comes to recruitment and placing at job!!!

The staff at Vaco are fantastic. Mark Ackerman and RJ Ricci are top notch recruiters. These guys go above and beyond to help find the perfect fit for you and they have established long-term relationships with top Employers in Central FL. The entire job search was easy and efficient and they helped me land my dream job at a great company. Thanks guys! I really appreciate all you that you do! Highly recommend Vaco!

I had been reached out by Widner and had been quite comfortable with the process that helped me get a position. I was kept informed on progress and was immediately told and reached out to when a progression in the application process happened.

Tracy Harris also assisted me in informing of the situation before going to the interview when I was instructed to reach out and was helpful in answering my questions.

Sha was delightful and patient when opening a Microsoft Teams Meeting to give a brief review of the processes I would need to go through for the company.

Overall, this has been a greatly positive experience.

Everything flowed smoothly. Chris reached out through LinkedIn and set everything up with the hiring Director. We reached an agreement and I moved to work in Gainesville. From start to finish it was an amazingly smooth process.

After applying, passing 5 interviews, six months has passed and I'm still waiting to get a call.... Is this company even real?

Very rude. My mother went for an interview to be assisted in finding a job opportunity. She came very excited and ready to conquer.

The man that was interviewing her started judging her right at the beginning. Saying that she doesn't talk the right way (my mother has no slang and carrys herself well) and that she didnt present herself the right way. Also stated that her resume wasnt up to par. Due to this they can't assist her in job placement because basically nobody would want her. He then questioned her if she thinks she will pass her background check because he cant go through that embarrasement again.

My mother has worked in a office environment for 5 years in an insurance company as well as the realty business. She also has certifications in customer service and is a notary. She and myself know her worth. Nobody deserves to be talked down to like she was today. She will find a job without the help of Vaco.

I'm not usually one to rate 1 star. I'm actually very generous. However, I don't recommend wasting your time with Vaco. I was very excited when someone reached out to me to discuss my qualifications and assist with job placement. I set up an appointment for an interview with them, took the necessary tests and filled out a bunch of paperwork only to be ignored. The representative I worked with was very nice and welcoming, but after the interview I never heard from him again. I tried reaching out multiple times and he never answered his phone and never let me know of any openings. Complete waste of time. I've since gone through a different staffing agency and they are AMAZING. The representative I work with always followed up, got me exactly what I wanted and even kept in touch to see how everything was going. He also assured me he is there if I ever have any questions and he always answers his phone or text messages. Unfortunately I can't say the same about Vaco.

So impressed with Brian and all his help and diligence on placing with me a great firm. Thanks B. You re the best. I would definitely recommend this company. 5 Starts
