I purchased 5 gallons of "Acid Safe" from Pat at US Polychemical after he called me and ranted and raved about how wonderful of a product it was for cleaning brass musical instruments. He is a very persistent sales person who called me several times. He went on and on about how the product will not damage the finish of instruments and about how safe it was. After I purchased and received it, I called Pat to review the recommended dilution ratio and he mentioned that it was not a good product to use on silver plated instruments because it dulls the finish. This was never mentioned by Pat before I purchased it. I have never opened the product to use it, because so much of what I work on is silver plated. It is still sealed in the shipping box. When I expressed my dissatisfaction to Pat, he tried to sell me another product, but said that he could not take the Acid Safe in exchange. I told him not to ever call me again.

There is an old canister that currently holds some rocks outside my friends porch. It s sturdy and holds all the rocks they put into it. Works as a good doorstop.
