The Family Medicine Center at Renaissance Center is top tier! I have been a patient there for many years. They have a reputation around Durham and Chapel Hill that they have earn through many years of excellent service. I literally owe them my life.
After several years of going hear UNC changed networks and became out of network with our provider. Not a problem but they never notified us of this change and continued to allow us to receive care at their pediatricians office. Six months later after this happened we got a bill for $3000. When we investigated what was going on they told us that they had in their system that they told us we were out of network, which they never did. They also pulled tests that were not covered without our consent and which resulted in an additional $500 fee that we could not resolve. We had to make 11 calls to get any sort of answers within the network. They then sent the $500 fee to a collections service without informing us of the issue. Do not go here.
