I have worked with the Turnstyle team over the past year on a few different projects and could not recommend them enough. Our family has enjoyed working with Lieve and the Turnstyle Design team over the years. They have completed 4 projects for us to date. These projects range from a full remodel design and implementation to help with less complex, but very important decisions like what color exterior paint to choose. For the complex projects, Lieve and team are great at integrating with other teams who are also part of the project.

I first worked with Lieve and team in 2012. We sold our house at the end of 2018. Between 2012-2018, the turnstyle team reimagined every room in the house as well as the exterior. When we decided to sell our house, the turnstyle team jumped into action and beautifully staged our home. Now we our in our "new" 1931 home in Seattle. In discussions with Lieve, she convinced us that the most important updates to make to our home were lighting and wall colors. She was SO right. I love how bright and cheery our home is. The paint colors are so rich and gorgeous. Our dining room light fixture is stunning. Love Lieve and the Turnstyle team!

Several years ago I was admiring my friend s home and asked where she had gotten her copper sink and cool coffee table she said, I have no idea, my designer did all that. Well, her designer was Lieve Saether at Turnstyle, so that s when we first hired her to do one room in our house (our study and loft). We loved her work so much that since then we ve had her do several other areas, one at a time: living room, dining room, kitchen, art room, outdoor patios, and most recently our master bedroom. We also had her find a metalsmith who created unique stair railings for our front entryway steps. We also hire her occasionally to decorate for parties/holidays.

In terms of having a uniquely creative vision and achieving a look/feel/ambience that is even better than what I could possibly imagine, I d say Lieve and Team are second to none. She listens to my input about our lifestyle and things that I like or don t like and combines that with what works with our home s architecture, then adds her own international perspective to create something that looks totally unique. We love everything she's done to create a home that is gorgeous in a non-showroom way, that looks like us, and feels the way we want it to feel. We honestly still ask ourselves, Do we really live here?

I have worked with Lieve and her team in the non-profit world to transform ordinary spaces into extraordinary spaces. Most notably, the Turnstyle team was given the challenge to transform the Paramount stage into a living room for a conversation between Andy Roddick, Roger Federer and Mary Carillo. The design was one of a kind that made you instantly feel as if you were transported into the living room of one of these tennis greats. The attention to detail was so precise and felt like every piece had been collected over years instead of the few months. You will never find rooms like hers in other houses because Lieve is truly an artist in every sense of the word.

Lieve and her team curated the design and style for a special concert that my organization presented at an art gallery. They went above and beyond to make sure the aesthetics matched the theme of the concert. Her creativity, communication, and expertise made for a seamless collaboration and beautiful event. Unique, Authentic, Original, Exciting is what comes to mind when I see Turnstyle s work. Not only are they immensely talented to bring fresh, authentic and functional design to a space, but also they are professional and able to execute a job as per the specifications on time and on budget. I work with homeowners all over the county that can afford the finest in decor and furnishings. Frequently, I see design implements that are repeated over and over, as if they all hired the same designer that used the same template. Turnstyle brings a home a fresh look, that is original to the space and homeowner, without leaving the homeowner behind in the process. I am thrilled with what Lieve did in my personal home.

Lieve and team are perfection! I first worked with Lieve in 2015 to design my living room, dining room and entry way. From the initial consultation to install day, Lieve was always completely in control of the project and ensured that the design was tailored to our unique taste and lifestyle. The finished product is fabulous--beautiful, yet totally functional for our family of five. I worked with Lieve and team again in the summer of 2019 during the design process of our new home build out. Lieve helped us choose everything--flooring, cabinets, carpet, tile, hardware, etc. The design center is extremely overwhelming, but she made sure that our house had a cohesive design with materials that were again our style and yet functional. I loved working with Lieve and the Turnstyle team and love the spaces they have created for us.

We gave Lieve a budget of $50,000. Her initial design fee was $7600, which we paid 50% to begin (remaining budget $46,200) We were told the process would take 6-8 weeks; the project arrived 2 weeks late. During that time, they called and asked us how big our TV was.
Numerous facets of the design that were discussed in-person were either completely ignored or flat-out disregarded.
Once we received the design and cost estimate, Lieve promptly left without explaining why the total cost before taxes and shipping was $84,000 ($37,800 over budget).
