The company was founded in 2001 by Jack Cummings III and Robyn Hussa Farrell with the mission to produce new works and re-imagine revivals by American writers. Since its inception, Transport Group has been committed to creating innovative productions that challenge audiences and push the boundaries of traditional theatre.
The company's productions have received critical acclaim and numerous awards, including Drama Desk nominations for Outstanding Revival of a Play (Our Town) and Outstanding Musical (First Lady Suite). Renascence tells the story of Millay's life through her own words, exploring her struggles with love, fame, and identity.
