This place is awesome! Good, balanced selection of beers available; exceptionally friendly staff, and a convenient bottle shop right at the door. We visited for the first time on Sunday and were treated like regulars by the helpful, friendly servers and manager. We came back the next day for a few "Crowlers" (1L sized cans of their beer). Looking forward to our next visit!

This is an awesome neighborhood brewery with a great selection of solid beers. Their tasting room is a full size pub with lots of nice wood tables and a cool mural of Ottawa streets on the wall. Atmosphere is super casual and staff are very good - friendly and attentive without being pushy.

Another awesome find in this fun part of Ottawa! Tooth and Nail is a boutique brewery that serves up a great range of beers, tasty snacks in a chilled atmosphere with great service! We enjoyed sitting outside - perfect for warm Ottawa days! Really fantastic experience!

The best brewpub in Ottawa, one of the top brewers around. The staff are always friendly without being intrusive. Not sure why some others here complain about them, but without a doubt, one of the friendliest places around. Its a place to have some good beer and maby a small snack, not to go for fine dining or wine. I do wish they had more sour beer and ciders

Great atmosphere and great beer. This place can get rather busy and parking is a bit annoying. This is a great place to have conversations with friends. It's nice and relaxed. The menu isn't very extensive. It consists mostly of snack foods. A great place to hang out.

Great beers, good broad selection - staff is friendly and knowledgeable - service is excellent. Check online beforehand to make sure your preferred brew is available on tap. Don't forget to check their take-away shop for some beers for home. Another one of the high quality craft brew houses in Ottawa

I'm really glad I stopped by Tooth and Nail. The place was very laid-back and relaxed, but the bartenders were very friendly. While I didn't try any of the food, their beers were fantastic. I ordered two tasters, so I could try a little of each one. The IPA and APA were the best. I though they had a perfect balance of hops, but all of them had good flavour. I'd totally be willing to go back.

Honestly, I love the beer at tooth and nail, huge selection at great prices. This establishment gets 2 stars because of the first time I sat in the place to have a drink the servers were incredibly unprofessional. They were throwing coasters at each other and hitting CUSTOMERS who were there to relax and have a good time. Really disappointed with their actions.

Nice little neighbourhood brew pub. Had about 10 different selections on tap and a beer store on sigh site. I was there at 5 on a Saturday and there wasn't much on the food menu. A few bar snacks and a selection of sandwiches. Not sure if if they have a more extensive menu at other times.

Servers are fantastic here. Very knowledgeable about the beer on tap and why they are served in different glasses. Great selection of beer and a snack selection. The one down side is there no hooks under the tables for your jackets. Come early as it is a popular hang out.

The owners of this new brewery have pulled out all of the stops and have done a spectacular job of converting an old print shop into a beautiful space, which is quite large and can easily accommodate groups, parties and live music.

The menu is all about beer, and the food is really just for satisfying the munchies after hoisting a few.

I tried the Tenacity pale ale which was very smooth and enjoyable. Even better was the Rabble-Rouser IPA which was firm and hoppy, but not overly strong.

Aware that the branding and merchandise is almost as important as the product, they have done a nice job of creating a bold and recognizable logo in red and black in line with Ottawa's pro sorts teams. The distinctive glassware for home enjoyment is a must have as well. I bought 4... Well done!

Delicious beer, nice venue. Really like their hoppy beers (Solo Mission ADHA, Rabble Rouser, and Sucker Punch. Good food here as well!
I really hope Ottawa craft brewers go the way of Halifax brewers and fill any growler a customer brings in, not just their own. 5/5 when that day comes!

Tooth and Nail Brewing Company is a great neighbourhood brew pub. The ambience is cozy with wooden tables and benches. The music is present but not over bearing. The selection of beer is pretty good. My first critique is that their food menu is limited due to a lack of a kitchen, however the food is good quality and has an artisan feel. My second critique is that their beer menu does not list the IBU of each beer, but you can ask there servers and they can tell you all about the selection. Having a larger food selection and IBU listings would boost my review tobe4 stars. Great to have another brew pub to add to the list. I will be back if I am back in the neighbourhood.

Pfff. Ok good bar if you want to spend 35$ for a plate of cheese that came with dirty cutlery. Apart from that, worst service I've ever had. The manager thinks he knows what he is doing but is as incompetent as they come. I think my 5 year old dog is more competent that he is. If you want to be talked down to by employee's than this is the place for you! Enjoy!

I was looking for a new craft beer place close to work and someone recommended this place. I haven't tried the food, but I can definitely comment on the beer. The IPA is fantastic. Nice hoppiness, mild citrus flavour. The stout is also a winner, without being overly thick. My least favorite was the Pale Ale, but it was still quite flavourful.

The service is very good, friendly and warm. They like their beers and appreciate the customers conversations. I had the Pilsner, the Pale Ale, the Stout and the Saison and I would not want to have been drinking any other beer at that time. Balance, strong and delicious. If you are in Ottawa looking for good beer, get here.

Showed up after a long drive and checked to make sure they were open online. It said patio was open. The hostess was really rude and said they were full for reservations for the night (no reservation option on site) and the patio was wide open. Tried to get beer to go and was also turned away because they re Internet was down. I m sure they have fine beer but I won t be coming back to try it.

Today was a beautiful September day in Ottawa and we spent an hour or so walking around Hintonburg so decided to stop by Tooth and Nail. Picked up a variety of beer and have to say that their curbside pick up was crazy fast and friendly. When I got home I cracked a Black is Beautiful...oh my God. I love stouts and dark beer and have had so many different ones over the years but have to say this is the smoothest, richest and most tasty that I have ever had! Great spot, great people and frickin great beer. Go people!

Beer selection seems to have a beer for everyone. I tried all of of them and enjoyed most of them. My friends ordered food and said the quality was amazing but the portions are quite small as stated in a few reviews. Overall it was a good experience and had amazing service and got a few cans to go. Would definitely recommend the beer and food if you're not expecting a huge meal!

We have been buying beer from Tooth and Nail fairly regularly over the past few years, more since COVID as we were trying to support local. We went to the patio for the first time today since COVID started and these guys are ON THEIR GAME.

All servers were wearing their masks *properly* the entire time we were there. They took down our first name and phone number for contact tracing in case someone tests positive and was there. They are seating no more than two people per table, even for groups larger than two, and they are enforcing physical distancing (someone from another table moved his chair bit closer to us and the server asked him to move back in closer to his table to give us space). Finally, they had a brilliant menu system with a QR code on each table that can be scanned instead of handling physical menus (some places are doing disposible menus which is better than regular menus but overall quite wasteful).

As usual, 5/5 for these guys and will continue to support them.

First time here last night......all I can day is GO......GO.......Go. What an amazing set up. The beer is so good and there is a beer for every tastebud. You can order a big glas or just 3 oz glass. The staff are on top of their game and waiting for a beer is non exsistant. The second you finish your glass someone magically appears and offers to fill it up again or try a different flavour.
Had a great time and will be back 100 percent.
