We also appreciated the thoughtful kitchen additions and the new doors and balcony windows. Despite the massive scope, they wrapped up the job in under five weeks without sacrificing quality. The meticulous attention to detail made the house feel like it just came off the lot.

My husband and I turned to TOC design & construction inc. for help with our new home. From our very first call, Tania impressed us with her expertise and warm energy. She generously spent an hour on the phone answering all our questions, which was a refreshing change from the usual rushed conversations with other professionals. We eventually met with her for a consultation that lasted three hours instead of the scheduled hour because she never rushed us and remained fully engaged. She provided excellent ideas and addressed every concern. Although we couldn’t start the renovations immediately due to circumstances beyond our control, we know exactly who we will call when we are ready to move forward. Thank you, Tania, for your time and patience—we are truly looking forward to working with you.

Our experience with Tania at TOC Design back in 2012 was truly exceptional. She possesses a remarkable ability to understand client needs and translate them into stylish designs instantly. Her creativity is outstanding, and she has a wonderful eye for making spaces look beautiful. Tania combines a strong professional work ethic with a lovely personality, proving herself as a genuine talent in the interior design industry. We discovered TOC design & construction inc. on Houzz and were instantly struck by Tania’s expertise and impressive portfolio. Choosing TOC means opting for a comprehensive turnkey solution that goes far beyond basic remodeling, paying close attention to both major structural changes and delicate decor details. Unlike working with a standard general contractor, Tania personally oversees every trade and purchase, ensuring that each element enhances the overall quality and aesthetic of the project. Her designs are truly stunning. She masterfully interpreted our preferences, taking our initial ideas and expanding them into a cohesive, harmonious living space. Her strong background in construction allows her to seamlessly integrate structural adjustments with layout planning, creating perfect visual lines and smooth transitions between rooms, all while adding unique focal points. When we acquired our century-old home, it was in desperate need of a makeover. After years of handling renovations and design on our own, we finally met Tania, and she truly transformed our living space. Over the years, she has worked on numerous projects for us, essentially bringing her unique touch to every corner of the house, most notably during the major overhaul of our kitchen and two bathrooms. Tania consistently demonstrates impressive creativity and project management abilities, along with a quirky charm that makes the process enjoyable. However, what sets her apart is her genuine humanity. Renovation work can be incredibly stressful, but Tania serves as more than just a contractor; she is a supportive partner and a calming presence when things get chaotic. For anyone planning to build or renovate, we firmly believe TOC design & construction inc. is the ultimate choice.

Transforming the kitchen and dining area of my vintage home, which hadn’t seen any updates in six decades, was a daunting task. I had a vague idea of which walls to knock down and how to improve the flow, but that was my entire contribution. TOC design & construction inc. stepped up to handle the complex design work. Tania initially presented three distinct layout options, and once I selected a direction, she delivered an incredibly thorough design package with a precise cost estimate that perfectly balanced my needs for better lighting, optimized traffic patterns, and drawer storage—all while staying within budget. I really appreciated Tania’s honesty when she gently pointed out that some of my own ideas weren’t the best fit; her clear explanations built my trust. The contract was straightforward with no surprise charges. Although I haven’t reached the construction phase yet, the itemized list of materials—from the exact number of recessed lights and electrical boxes to the square footage of plywood and hardwood—is so detailed that I feel fully confident moving forward. Having TOC on board made all the difference.

Working with TOC design & construction inc. has been an outstanding experience. We commissioned five separate projects from Tania, and her deep understanding of our specific requirements never wavered. As a family with French and Italian roots who has called Canada home for some time, we were looking for a space that truly reflected our heritage and lifestyle, and she designed a perfect family compound for us. Tania stands out for her ability to listen closely while strictly adhering to our budget parameters. She grasped our vision immediately and delivered with impressive dedication, ensuring every detail was executed on schedule.

Working with TOC Design & Construction on multiple home renovations has been a consistent pleasure, largely due to Tania’s unwavering integrity. She truly prioritizes the client’s vision, combining honest feedback with the courage to challenge conventional design norms. Her approach is both tactful and determined, ensuring that every space feels warmer and more inviting without compromising on the details that matter most. She managed to respect our budget and timeline while reimagining our living areas into meaningful homes. Tania has a natural gift for guiding clients through the design process efficiently and pleasantly, and her creative solutions continue to impress everyone who visits.

I hired Tania from TOC design & construction inc. to transform my new condo into a true home, and she exceeded every expectation. It was a massive undertaking involving construction, furniture sourcing, styling, and staging. Tania didn’t just manage the project; she truly understood my vision, budget, and personal taste. Her pre-construction planning was flawless, and her realistic budgeting gave me total confidence. The execution was seamless. The project was completed on time, within budget, and delivered with a stunning "wow" factor. Tania handled everything from material selection and contractor supervision to negotiating deals and coordinating deliveries, making the entire process stress-free. Her attention to detail was impeccable, as if she were caring for her own property. Both her team and the construction crew were top-notch professionals. What sets Tania apart is her genuine passion and personality. Even before I officially hired her, she was offering valuable advice and ideas. Working with her has been a genuine pleasure, and she has such a natural rapport with her clients. She consistently goes above and beyond. I’ve already brought her back for additional work because I trust her skills and expertise completely. TOC delivered a turnkey solution that feels uniquely mine. Every time I walk through the door, I’m reminded of what a wonderful experience it was.

Working with Tania at TOC Design & Construction has been a fantastic experience. She is incredibly professional, serious, and honest, especially during our important conference calls. Given our specific situation—turning a large single condo back into its original two units for an upscale rental while also addressing our own home needs—her design approach strikes a perfect balance between elegance and cost-effectiveness. I met Tania at her office and hired her on the spot; she exceeded my already high expectations. The design package was remarkably comprehensive, going far beyond what I thought was humanly possible. I even spoke to the contractor earlier today, and he was impressed by the handover. The specifications were to the nth degree, color-coded, and detailed on every page. Nothing was left to his imagination, which makes his job much easier. Beyond the beautiful renderings and detailed specs, Tania has taken on an additional role during the construction phase. Since my wife and I are out of town, she is handling material purchases (all prices discussed and confirmed), assisting with appliance selections, and serving as our go-to person for any unforeseen issues. I fully expect to write another glowing review when the project wraps up in late October. You might think this sounds too good to be true, but it isn’t. I met Tania earlier this year and initially considered using Home Depot’s designer and contractor for the kitchen and the rest of the remodel. After meeting Tania, that option disappeared from consideration. Her broad knowledge of both design and construction makes her far more valuable than most designers I’ve encountered. For the entire remodel, the approximate project cost is over $100,000, with Tania’s design fee sitting at around 5-6%. I am confident she will save us more than that fee, and the final result will surpass anything we could have done on our own. Getting better results with less time and money is an unbeatable combination. Hiring Tania was a stroke of luck, but don’t let her warm smile fool you—she is a true expert at what she does.

Our newly acquired four-year-old home in West Island Montreal had a beautiful structure but lacked a distinct personality. Thanks to a glowing recommendation from our daughter, we reached out to Tania. It didn’t take long for her to grasp our specific needs and priorities during our first meeting. Her warmth and authenticity made the entire experience a genuine privilege rather than just a job. Tania brings extensive industry expertise and an impressive ability to reflect our personal style. She is also very budget-conscious, offering creative solutions that maximize value. We were confident that hiring a professional would protect our investment, and she proved us right by delivering a space that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. We are thrilled to have her manage our upcoming basement renovation as well. Her contribution has truly transformed our house into a home.

Tania at TOC design & construction went above and beyond to help me figure out how to fit an IKEA PAX door into a wall opening. Even though I reached out with a question that was a bit outside the usual scope, she took the time to give me a detailed explanation. It’s clear she puts real care into her work, and her willingness to share that expertise really stood out. I can only imagine how meticulous she is when managing a full project with all her skills. Big thanks to Tania for her generosity and professionalism!

Don't waste your time looking elsewhere; TOC Design & Construction Inc. is the partner you need to truly optimize your living space. After a frustrating experience with another designer who cancelled on me twice, I turned to TOC Design, and the difference was night and day. Tania is incredibly organized and detail-oriented. She took the time to understand our specific needs as a young family of six, using a detailed questionnaire to capture our lifestyle, preferences, and must-haves. The result was professional planning that moved straight into demolition on schedule. The renovation of our main floor—covering the kitchen, den, dining room, living room, family room, and new wood and tile flooring—was seamless over the course of eight weeks. Tania kept us in the loop the entire time, coordinating smoothly with Soll Solution and Ivco Construction. A huge thank you to the entire team for making such a complex project feel effortless.
