great parks, really well maintained, however the reservation system is from the stone age. Ive booked plenty of stays at the three rivers park district, however buyer beware if you need to cancel a trip. There is no way to do it online so you are forced to call, they are not open on weekends so you have to call during business hours, then when you call during business hours their voicemail will tell you they are open starting at 2:30pm!?!?!?! then when you call back after 2:30 it takes so long to get ahold of anyone. Please just make reservations able to be cancelled online.
The registration site is sooooo bad. Unfortunate since registering for programs is so important...
Was a good experience until it was Time to go out on the water DON'T LET ALLIE GO OUT WITH YOU she needs more experience at training and canoeing I really felt like she tipped the canoe on purpose and she is very lucky I was in my right state of mind. Went out with a different trainer and had a totally different experience not a classroom setting and didn't get wet
Received a park citation for javing my dog at an off leash dog park without buying a permit. That would have been fine, except for thr fact that, while writing out my ticket, the officer simply took the word of the the dozen people who told him that they "had the permit in the car". Be consistent, or don't bother enforcing your meager rules.
I d been using the driving range at Glen Lake this last weekend. Like a nit wit, I locked my keys in my car. The staff at the clubhouse found a phone number to Three Rivers...agent Lori Lindahl answered and told me she d be there ASAP. She is so unbelievably sweet. She was there in a few minutes and unlocked my door for me. I couldn t believe it. So professional and so nice. I was truly impressed! She made my day! Thank you Lori and thank you Three Rivers for hiring the right people that really care. I m telling all my friends about you Lori! You were my hero on Sunday...thank you again.
Actually my rating is applicable to their entire Park System---they're all unbelievably wonderful parks with Silverwood my favorite since it's open all year
great park system and free! lots of great family memories!
I absolutely love living in this community. Great management, easy to work with. Clean area as well. I got my step daughter to buy a house here. We have wonderful neighbors. We just got a new dog park, so exciting!
Had private lesson reservation canceled on the day of the lesson because of their own mistake. Was told after-the-fact that I had one 4 hour window, on a Friday that was a week previous to the lesson, to call and pay for the reservation. No apology. Get lessons elsewhere. Como Park has great lessons, as does the Loppet Foundation.
