I recently visited the website looking for local news. The website layout was pretty standard and easy to navigate. The articles were informative, and I appreciated the variety of topics covered. However, I was expecting more engaging features and interactive elements on the website. The design felt a bit outdated and could benefit from a modern touch. 📰 Overall, I found the content helpful for staying updated on local events, but I believe some improvements to the website's user experience would enhance the overall experience.

CUSTOMER: The standard-speaker is a decent company. They have a user-friendly website and offer a good range of news articles. However, the quality of their reporting could be improved. The articles often lack depth and analysis. Overall, they are an average news source.

About The standard-speaker

The Standard-Speaker, located in Hazleton, Pa., became a member of The Times-Shamrock newspaper group in the spring of 2007. The family-owned paper traces its history to 1866 and the Hazleton Sentinel. That newspaper later became the Standard-Sentinel and then merged with the Plain Speaker to become the Standard-Speaker. The seven-day daily serves readers in southern Luzerne County and parts of Schuylkill and Carbon counties. The addition of the Standard-Speaker along with The Citizens’ Voice, gives Times-Shamrock the largest daily circulation reach in Luzerne County.
