This was my first visit. I read that they have great bites and the best Moscow Mules in town, so went to check it out. The MMs were good, but today was my first time having the drink so I can't attest to them being the best, but it was good. We had chicken and waffles and fried green tomatoes. The chicken was a buttermilk dipped chicken breast and it was so juicy. Tomatoes were firm and battered in a cornmeal breading. DELICIOUS!! The portions are very generous and the meal was a reasonable price. The service is also excellent.
It's an intimate place so I would recommend reservations on the w/e or later into the evening. We got in at 4p and sat at the bar so no wait for us. I'll definitely be back.

Came here for some drinks. Moscow Mules is to go to and it's a house drink. Ginger beer brewed in the house. Joshua, the bartender was super nice, intuitive, great. Old fashion was top notch and definitely one of the best I have in a long time. Place is very cozy and casual. Food from other tables looked pretty good. Definitely will be back to try some food and other cocktails
Ps there is a collection of Playboy from 1960s.

Decided on this place solely for the vegan chick'n and waffles. Unfortunately they were out. Asked for the vegan bbq sandwich instead, they were out of that too. It was not a busy night, and this restaurant is supposed to be well known for its veggie options. Went with the veggie pattie melt that was recommended as a 3rd choice. It was decent, but VERY salty. My wife's shrimp Po Boy was also VERY salty. Overheard the people seated at a table near us saying their food was VERY salty too. Lastly, on our receipt everything was priced 1$ higher than the menu stated. Not the worst experience possible, but safe to say we will not be back!

Waited 2 hours to sit and eat and when we finally got food it was very disappointing. The food was bland, no flavor and just dry. Ordered a grilled ribeye medium rare and i received a well done steak. Mashed potatoes were just dry and flavorless. Stiff enough to throw at someone. Mac n cheese had no flavor whatsoever. I had to add salt, pepper, and hot sauce. Was advised by another guest not to get the baked potato because it was plain with no seasoning. If you enjoy bland food then come here but if you want flavorful food, go elsewhere.

Me and my family's experience at this restaurant was fabulous, one of the only places downtown that provide a relaxing experience without waiters that are dressed fancifully and act fake when around you. Our interactions felt genuine and personal, the food selection is great at this restaurant. I myself had the country fried steak, it was seasoned beautifully with a light pepper gravy on top that had a bit of spice. To accompany, I had some mac & cheese and mashed potatoes which were equally as delectable. Overall, a fantastic experience.
