Traditional pub that serves traditional pub food to a better than average standard. I had a steak and mushroom pie, which was excellent. Packed full of juicy, tender steak in a rich sauce; the only surprise was the lack of mushrooms!

The best Sunday Roast Ever! We had butternut squash soup for starters- creamy and smooth. The lamb was the highlight of the visit, it was perfectly cooked to medium, and was melting in my mouth- that was truly best lamb I ever had... Nice afternoon tea. Amazing scones. Could of done with a bit more jam though. Chocolate fondants were also delicious. Other desserts were so so. Egg and cress sandwiches were really nice. Mozzarella and pesto sandwiches a bit plain. Nice atmosphere and views plus great selection of teas.
