Came with a friend from Australia, and my boyfriend, to experience some fun and funky brews. Got a sampler spread for a decent experience. Olivia, the bartender, was fantastic. Incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. She gave us a lot of information which gave us the best selection for our...
LABrewatory familiar to Japan Great place in old North Portland. There is a cart like a Mexican restaurant next door. New brewery as opposed to a traditional store nearby Since the tap changes every time, I think that it is a shop that you can enjoy without getting tired. Please enjoy many delic...
One of the best beer stops in portland. quality ive been here many times. It's simple in presentation and high in quality. And ive been to every one brewery in the metro area.
The beer is great! They have many unique beers and they also have other drink options as well. They allow well behaved children until 9. The food next door is great.
Fresh brewed ales with a rotating tap line up. Jeb, Tyler, Drew, Grace and Jenna keep the place moving and your glasses full. With a cool industrial decor made by the Portland Kettle Works Fabrication team you can sit in comfort and watch the brewing process and eat fresh food from Tamale Boy next...
Great variety of beers, atmosphere is good. Staff is very friendly. Prices are not expensive. They do not sell food besides their pretzel but there is the Tamale Boys attached and the tamales are amazing. Guacamole is really good.
A departure from what is the usual coffee or brew establishment, definitely worth looking into for the distinguished as well as the informal experience, casual& relaxed atmosphere.
Super cool coffee shop with the nicest owner smack dab in the middle of a way cool brewery with a way cool brew master! When we were in today the brew master was creating a marshmallow/sweet potato brew for Thanksgiving! I can't wait to go back and try it!
My wife and I came here for a date night totally in the dark about what this place was going to be like and were very pleasantly surprised about how cool this place turned out to be. Very good atmosphere and interior decoration. They had garage-style doors that would allow the front of the bar to be...
I love Labrewatory. The space is great, the beer is great, and the staff is great. LOVE that you can also bring in Tamale Boy food.
We recently held a private event there and I couldn't be more impressed with how their staff took care of us from start to finish. I have received so many complimen...
Great place to relax and have a new beer in a well designed space. Much more ambitious with trying different beers styles than most portland breweries, but even if you only drink ipas they will still have something for you.
Nice atmosphere but expect to spend 7-8 dollars on a beer. To me that is over priced for the quality. Most recently I got an IPA that tasted like something from amateur home brewer and left me unsatisfied.
Had the best night here. The bartender was exceptional and friendly even with a huge wedding afterparty coming in. We tried everything on the menu and only one beer was meh. Unexpected because of the nature of how they make beer but it was great. The venue is amazing and it was all around a great ti...
Fun experimental beers, not always a hit, but always interesting. Anyone should be able to find something they like. If you don't come back the following week for a new selection.
Found the brewery by accident and have been recommending it to friends ever since. Friendly staff, diverse beer offering, and a family friendly crowd. Parking ain t bad to boot. Gotta love that collaboration with Tamale Boy next door!
Update: something happened to this place. It doesn't have the same vibe anymore, the beers aren't as good, and they're more expensive now too I guess. I stopped by for two standard beers (not some fancy high % IIPA), and they were $8 ea. After tipping it was $20 for just 2 beers...That's like concer...
Have been here a few times. The staff is awesome. And they re open at 7am! You can have your choice of coffee, espresso or beer. Tamale boy is also serving up amazing breakfast burritos for them as well.
Some of the beers are GREAT! That is why I give it a 3. But DO NOT try their pretzels (the only food they offer). They have no flavor, and their dijon mustard is of low quality. Probably won't be back... well, just won't be back. Nothing screams to come back. And the only other food option is going ...
My new favorite place! Their beers are fantastic with a great selection of different varieties (I like sours, and my husband likes IPA's, so it was nice that we could both get what we wanted). Plus I could get a great cup of coffee, and the best tamales in town, all in one spot! The head brewer N...
Never disappointed by the quality, taste and above all creativity of the beers poured here. The labrewtory stands out in the PDX beer scene and that's no easy task! This visit the Macha Man macha infused Belgian ale was the CREAM OF THE CROP! OH YEAAAH!
My favorite kind of sours except the "You're the Gewurzt". Not very busy on a Sunday afternoon so nice and quiet spot. Their locally baked soft pretzels are legit.
Each beer was great in it's own right. The BBQ Porter was my favorite though and my wife didn't share the English Pub ale, she said it was amazing but I cannot add my thoughts to it.
Excellent staff! Great creative beer selection. And the Tamale Boy next door is great to have. Seating can be limited, so either be prepared to wait, plan ahead, or bring a smaller group.
The only thing not making it a 5 star is lack of space and lack of food options. But if all you want is a goo...
Loved this taproom. Great staff. Knowledgeable and friendly. My wife and I came in with a Groupon for a tasting, gourmet pretzel and a crowler to take home. Crowlers are filled in their one time use aluminum can that had the lid sealed right in front of you. Cool process.
I absolutely love Labrewatory! The staff is friendly and helpful and always seem excited to be there, the beer selection was incredible, an array of IPAs, a wild but delicious pineapple pilsner, and some darker beers as well. What really sets them apart though is their beautiful space, and the...
A nice cozy Tap House with great decor, wonderful service, and really fun inventive beers on tap. All the beers are a specialty, so I will definitely be back to try their small batch Brews. It's really fun!
If you always order the same IPA, this is not the place for you. Beers change often, and every one is an experiment. Some are amazing and some are not. Fun place, great tamales next door, street parking is plentiful.
