One of the coolest venues in Minneapolis! While waiting in line to pay for parking a very nice person of The Labs staff came over and said we could pay for parking inside at the box office, saving time and us from waiting in the cold. Over all a great experience and a beautiful venue!!

This is a great space to throw an intimate show. It is a three story room with excellent sound and lighting. Elevator access for people in a wheelchair. Seating is unnumbered general access with some tables used for VIP. They have a table top beverage sales area where they serve beer, wine, soda, and water.

We took our 5 year olds to see the Danger Committe at the theater. The venue space was open and pleasant although the risers were a little uneven and easy to trip on. It's also subterranean so keep in mind that walking up and down stairs will be necessary, however an elevator is available The staff was very friendly including the box office, ushers and bartender. There were just enough options at the concession stand to satisfy. There was an irritating issue with one of the lapel mics but it could have been due to a placement issue. The Danger Committe was great and I think we might need to make seeing them an annual tradition.

This theater is fantastic. I have done three shows here and I just saw Spring Awakening tonight. Don't walk, run to the Lab to see this show. The cast is outstanding under the direction of Ryan Nielson, who I had the pleasure of sitting next to. Also got to chat with Mara Currens. What a sweet and incredibly talented young lady. I will definitely be seeing it again next weekend before the three week run ends. That is all, carry on.

This place was amazing! Me and several friends went and saw their shows, "Arden Of Faversham" and "Much Ado About Nothing," and, I must say, they were brilliant!!!! "Arden" was so depressing, and I've never seen it before but, the way they preformed it, along with the twist ending, made me fall in absolute love with the play! The actress portraying Alice in particular stood out to me and the way she showed shock and horror and grief absolutely yanked at my soul!!!! And I can't even express how enjoyable and hilarious their production of "Much Ado" was!!!! I got strong "mamma mia" vibes from the setting and clothes, but I also feel that the same things, along with the staging and the physical comedy itself added so much to their performance!!! I also adored the actors who played Benedict and Don John, as their portrayals were nothing less than hilarious! I hope to return to see more performances here in the future!

My husband, daughter and I had the privilege of seeing Light the World in December. The entire performance, from the DJ and lighting to the tap dancing and singing was top notch. The theatre is beautiful. The stories told through song, dance, hoop, and aerial art were extremely moving. I am usually quite reserved, but I absolutely loved this show. We will definitely be back!

Rented the space. Had a great experience leading up to the day of rental but when it came down to it it was not what I paid for, quite literally, when discussed. One of the managers was incredibly rude, dismissive, and hard to handle. It would have been able to be rectified if I was reached out to afterwards with an apology for this amongst other things, like having to let myself in without any clue of where lights were, sound, etc....which was the reason for renting this over the southern. Love the space itself so much, though, wish it worked out. If I, somehow, get a response from this then I would be willing to consider changing my review.
