The Gown Gallery

After my experiences with three other bridal shops, I still cannot get over how bad my time at Gown Gallery was. After several e-mails back and forth before my visit about what we were looking for (including inspiration photos, item numbers, etc.), I was looking forward to my visit. However, when I arrived, the staff were completely unprepared. For some reason, they thought I was looking for a dress for my brother's wedding.... I'm an only child, and I was there to shop for MY wedding dress. I had also made an appointment for my mom to try on a couple MOB gowns, which also seemed to catch them by surprise. Further, our consultant came off as scattered, and she did not seem to know anything about the inventory. When I or the other girls with me asked questions about possible colors, alterations, etc. the consultant either seemed to ignore us completely or gave us very vague answers. Also, I was left by myself in the dressing room for several minutes with no one around not sure what the heck was going on. I'm so glad this wasn't my first experience shopping for a wedding dress because I probably would have had a total breakdown if I thought this was how it was going to be. Thank goodness for the gals at True Society and Savvy Bridal who were prepared for my visit and went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable throughout the process and made me feel excited about the experience. I wish I had heeded the warnings ahead of time from others who said they had bad experiences.

By far the best experience I ve ever had looking for a prom/hoco dress. Not overpriced & it has a very calming & laid back atmosphere while still upholding a classy vibe. I was able to try on anything I wanted and never felt like I was overstaying my welcome. Nicole was great!! She always hyped me up and was so supportive & nonjudgmental the entire time! I would recommend to anybody!!

I needed a dress for a special event, an awards banquet for work. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to find something that didn't look too "bridesmaid" or too "prom". The Gown Gallery had an amazing selection of dresses. My sales rep, Nehemiah, pulled some great dresses for me to try and she stayed within my budget!! In the end, I had multiple dresses to choose from. Very happy with my purchase. Will return!

Beautiful selection of colors and styles. We were happy to find a lovely dress she will always remember. The salespeople were very helpful; they called the seamstress at home multiple times to ensure the proper alterations could be made. We live three hours from KC, so they accommodated our need to have the dress fitting completed in one session. At least four salespeople contributed to our conversation about the fitting; they were all very sincere and friendly. I definitely recommend this shop.

As excited as I was for dress shopping, I was getting more nervous as my appointment approached. As soon as I got to The Gown Gallery, Mikaelee eased my nerves and gave me and my group the most fun day ever. She listened to everything I said and brought me gowns that were so gorgeous I had a hard time deciding, but ended up with the gown of my dreams. With stunning views and an incredible collection of gowns, I cannot recommend The Gown Gallery enough.

Bonus- every dress I tried on was well within my price range!! There is a dress for everyone there.

Finding a dress was so all over the place. I thought I finally found it but then changed my mind a few weeks later. Sharon and her team so kind and helpful. They get it. They work to keep you from being overwhelmed. They will find THE dress!

It was a wonderful time. Sharon pulled great choices, helped choose appropriate colors and styles to compliment the wedding style. She made me feel like a million dollars.
