Thanks to Attorney Morgan (black guy) you get one star! He was more concerned about the woman FASLELY prosecuting me and what was good for her...I finally had to FIRE HIM and pay an attorney from money I didn t have for my dismissal!

Back in 2007 my son was charged with a grave crime which he was truly innocent of...Anywho he was defended by the Bronx Defenders Office. His attorney was very knowledgeable and competent. Attorney Marika Miese was her name, I maybe misspelling her last name and she has since married and I can not recall her marriage name. However she fought my son s case for 3 yrs and diligently I have to say. The case was dismissed. I will forever be grateful to all the staff of their office

They provide Excellent service to the Community. When you enter you are greeted by front desk staff who direct you to the appropriate person to see. There is an eating area, a Library (an unexpected treat), a place to relax and unwind, children's area and altogether a relaxing atmosphere and great services.

They are very helpful when you can't afford or have access to an attorney. Also are great with handling lots of cases with ACS.

This is the best place to go and ask for assistance in legal matters. I had a case at the family court building, even though my case was 3yrs long, but i stood strong, i went through 3 lawyers all females. My 3rd lawyer was the best, she stood by me and fought for me. I won my case due to showing ability to withstand obstacles and pressure in life. I love my lawyer and i have her number, and we still talk and i go and visit them. And if i need anything their always there to help. I would recommend any body to go.

Their receptionists are rude! They select certain issues over others which is unfair and impartial.

Awesome place they are really good at helping people

They lie to the people,who they are supposed to defend, they really don't, do the work, they need to, to prove the case. Even when it's handed to them!. And they throw it from one lawer to the next, to the next and so on. Not a, very professional setting.
I was truly disappointed with the service.

They never helped me .They let my Children get hurt wrongfully by not defending them and I in a false accusation case .They knew that I didn't get a fair chance by misconduct and bias by legal proffesionals in the courtroom of Valerie Pels , illegal misconduct drawn out case non referrals and a family left to deal with the trauma of going through such an ordeal .Non forced compliance of children's services advocates and foster care services.

I suggest to those who call, that they have patience, since in general, they transfer you from one extension to another, depending on whether you request the service in English or Spanish. I also suggest that you have at hand the data related to the case that you are going to deal with. If I give you a little advice that they gave me and that is to be cautious when any institution wants you to give them your social number, as a precaution of plane that is sacred.
