Four years ago I came here and they found me a job within two weeks, temp-to-hire. The work was tough but it did the job and now four years later I am a senior leader in the business. They did a great job placing me at a company that needed the work and helping me find a more permanent home.

Been with Applied a couple of times and both cases I've had a follow up assignment if the previous did not hire on. Not a bad place to land a job in a pinch .

I have had the opportunity to refer several job seekers to Kerri at the Applied Companies, from that side of the business TAC really works hard to place the right people in the right job creating the opportunity for long term successful employment.

Before using the Applied Companies, I had a negative view of what a temp agency was (having had no experience with them before). After visiting with Priscilla Hinsberg, that turned around! I was laid off from my job suddenly and had vacation planned. We worked together to find me a job as soon as I got back that would have turned permanent had I wanted it to. The permanent job I took was only for the school year, so Priscilla was able to help me get summer assignments and short-term assignments for the winter breaks. After deciding to leave my job for something more permanent with benefits, Priscilla helped me yet again get into a company with set hours and potential to hire. Three months later, I took a permanent job at that company with full time hours and benefits. Thank you so much to Priscilla and TAC for always being there for me!!!

Applied Tuesday and they got me in that Friday. Set me up with an interview for Monday after the weekend for a job I was accepted for on Tuesday. All of the paperwork was done on the same day. Super fast and amazingly friendly staff but that poor front desk is so overworked they really should hire a second person.

Great, informative staff, signed up and was working an assignment the next day.

Great company! Everyone (Leslie, Kerri, Emma, Meghan, Priscilla and so many more!) are professional, courtesy, and efficient. I first went to TAC in 2011 and on my first interview got a job that I am still at! I now work with them to staff for me! I will forever be thankful to be a partner with TAC's.

AVOID. I know it is their job to sell you but they treat you like a show pony. No respect, zero common courtesy. They schedule interviews for you without confirming if you are available. I asked what happens when I cant make it? They said and I quote "We'll cross that bridge when we come to it". I guess they don't care if they burn their clients which is a huge red flag to a job seeker like me. They have sent me to 4 different interviews without so much as a job description or title. I came to them asking if they had anything better than what I am currently doing and I get offered basically the same thing. They actually told me to go on indeed and look for work, and to bring them job openings I found on there. Why would I not apply directly and cut out this middle man? They are the most unprofessional people I have ever had the displeasure of working with. They dont know their clients at all they just throw whatever they have at them and see what sticks. Definitely avoid at all costs.

Not for professionals. They specialize in hourly positions.

Leslie Zimmerman was amazing! She was extremely informative and professional, while still being personable. She gave me advice for polishing and tailoring my resume and offered to help me with my job search. Highly recommend!

I worked for at Patagonia through Applied from August 2016 to December 2016, and the entire time, Priscilla was a nightmare to work with. She was well-known throughout Patagonia and everyone there hated and avoided her. I did the same, and then there was some conflict of interest between her and my direct supervisor (if I had to take a sick day, she said I was not to contact my supervisor and that she would. Problem is, she never did and would leave him hanging, which looked bad on my end, so I would contact him anyway just to inform him that I wouldn t be there so he wouldn t be left hanging, which apparently was me deliberately defying her. No, it s professionalism). Then I got switched departments (from cafe attendant to picking) and I had to take a sick day in mid December, and she sent me a text message saying that she got my message but they were ending my assignment. Outraged, I tried to find out why but never heard back. So when I tried to file for unemployment, Priscilla told them that I had no call no showed, and willfully ended my own assignment, and somehow I brought my badge to get into the Patagonia warehouse back to Applied days before any of this even happened. I had proof that she was lying (the text message saying she received my message that very same day), as well as dates, but I went unheard by both DETR and Applied Staffing. Then, months later, after I told them to take me out of their system and never contact me again, she had the nerve to call me and try to offer me another job. Ma am, with all due respect, which is none, I don t give a flying heck about your recruiting bonus, so no, I don t want to work with you again. And neither should anyone else. You re wasting your time with Applied. I can understand wanting to go somewhere like that in a pinch, but I highly recommend Aerotech or JobConnect (which is an employment agency, rather than a temp agency). The people there are lovely and actually care about the people they re helping.

Applied one night, received a call to come in for an interview the very next day! After the interview and having my qualifications reviewed, received a position the following day!

Was very happy to see my qualifications were reviewed to ensure I was placed in a position that was perfect for my different experiences, as well as giving me the opportunity to learn new things!

Something to keep in mind... these ladies try hard to find a position that fit your qualifications! If they don't have one at the time, just call in update your availability... They will still reach out, if there is something that fits your qualifications!

I have worked here for two years and the besides the professional reasons, reasons I have stayed is the pride I have at how different TAC is. It's a big difference how I see in our treatment of associates versus how I was treated when I worked temporary roles.

I worked for this company for three months and they are the worst! I have never been so disrespected and miscared for by a company.
I had to take time off work (mind you, three days) due to an emergency. The director of this company ended my assignment without informing me, but received a message that she BELIEVED (no guaranteed answer, but sure) the company I worked for ended it. So I continued to go because a believe isn t very informative and the company did not end my assignment. Priscilla is a nightmare. Very catty and an attitude problem. Fix your tone woman. The management here seems to lack empathy and professionalism. I am disappointed this company is a business given their job is to keep jobs for their employers.
Just avoid this place overall.

Emma has been our payroll partner since February 2019. Emma is very professional and responds to our problems or issues immediately. Our payroll and HR support is excellent thanks to Emma!

Kerri and her team know their stuff! Knowledgeable group providing a number of services from staffing, executive search, payroll go to them for employment and employee needs.

Everyone there seems pretty great except for one of the hiring women, Priscila, she's very rude, doesn't care to really help. She called me and accused me of doing something that I didn't do and had the nerve to tell me she didn't have time to listen to me and she hung up on me and she also continuously refused to let me speak throughout the call. I called and tried to make a complaint on her but the manager has not contacted me back. Like I said everyone seems pretty nice there so I was caught by surprise at how rude she was and how she hung up on me but I will be calling again and make sure I speak with someone.

My experience working with TAC and their job placement services has been positive so far. I can faithfully recommend them. I have used other temp and employment recruiting agencies before and usually feel like I'm just being treated like a used car being sold. Not so with TAC. They even did a drive-thru job fair today to help match people with positions they are recruiting for to help make it easy and safe with the COVID-19 pandemic. They are a local, Reno-area company, but help recruit for companies all over Northern Nevada. If you decide to give TAC a try, please put my name as a referral! Thanks!

very disappointing place to work for. would rather you drive an hr out your for little pay and talk as if their doing you a favor. when you complete you rassignment they pretty much wash their hands of you

I have worked with the Applied company for years in order to bring competent, temporary workers to my place of employment. At times we have asked for as many as 25 workers and we need them now! Priscilla, has been great about fulfilling our needs. She is personable and understands what we are looking for. I enjoy working with her and have complete faith and confidence that she will come through with what we need. She always does!

After an interview and a wonderful experience with Priscilla the Manager of TAC . I was hired into a company that I am so excited to work for!

Rudest, laziest employees I have ever had the misfortune of trying to talk with. It wasn't this way 5 yrs ago. Word to management : revamp your employees!! I will be telling everyone, every where I go about my dealings with the incompetent twits you employ! And agreed, Priscilla is a JOKE!

Jasmine in payroll is always very pleasant and nice to work with. She is very knowledgeable and if a question other then payroll comes up, she will get the answer and get back to us with the answer.

This is one of the best employment agencies in the Reno/Sparks area, I was placed at an AWESOME place making great money. I recommend applied staffing to anyone looking for employment, go register with them and they will put you to work!!

I was employed with Applied for about 4 months. I was lied to about when I was getting paid. Very LAZY people, surprised they're still in business. I left my glasses in my locker at my last assignment, couldn't retrieve them and they wouldn't call to inquire about them as well. I got off at 3:30 PM, they left a mess. At 4:45pm telling me I was fired and not to go back there, and they had other openings. I called back in about 10 seconds. No one answered or called back the time 4;47 PM they close at 5:00pm.BE VERY CAREFUL!!!!!!!!

AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!!!! if u can u can go to different agencies, very unprofessional, they dont give u an update after u did ur interview and u have no idea whats going on they keep leading u on. DONT WASTE UR TIME GOING t TO THIS PLACE !!!!!!

The applied company was very attentive in finding a job I fit in with and very professional about it. They made me feel welcomed and didn't hesitate to find a great company to work for even with everything that is going on in this times. I thank them for there efforts and in finding me a great company to work for, I couldn't have done it without them.

Applied here a year ago. Never heard back until 6 months later in the form of a generic email about an opportunity with no job description or salary range, no follow-up from recruiter. Not impressed. No thanks.
