The first was a 24x36 inch purple heart piece, and for the second (12x18), I ordered cherry but requested to be surprised with whatever was in stock to speed things up. I ended up with white oak, and it turned out beautifully—I’m convinced I should have just picked that from the start! It would be great if they offered a "woodworker’s choice" option. I’ll definitely be ordering again, since I love the idea of letting them surprise me when I don’t have a specific wood in mind.
