The craftsmanship from Texas Metal Works is outstanding. I went ahead and picked up the Gen 2 pack for both myself and my partner, and we are thrilled with the results. Highly recommend!

Texas Metal Works delivered an excellent starter kit that really hit the mark. The quality is so good that I’m already planning to order additional accessories to expand my setup. Highly recommend for anyone looking for reliable equipment.
We are thrilled with our new table! Our makerspace was missing a proper flat welding surface, and Texas Metal Works stepped up to deliver a high-quality piece at a fantastic price. Conroe, TX, you have a winner.
Texas Metal Works exceeded my expectations with an outstanding product. Delivery was fast and the quality is excellent.
Fantastic quality from Texas Metal Works. Always a pleasure doing business with the team in Conroe.
Texas Metal Works delivered exactly what I needed. The welding table is well-built and the price is very fair. It has made a huge difference in how I work, making my daily operations much simpler and more efficient.
The base powder coating on my table from Texas Metal Works in Conroe was a fantastic finish. It really elevated the look of the piece and matched the quality of the construction perfectly.
I’m really impressed with these tools from Texas Metal Works! I use them constantly to ensure my builds are perfectly square, especially when working with the ball pin locks. There were a couple of small laser-cut tabs that needed a bit of cleanup since they protruded slightly and threw off the alignment, but that’s a minor issue. I don’t mind the extra work since it’s helping me get more familiar with the tooling. Now that I know what to expect, I can ensure everything is smooth and squared up for future projects. I’ll definitely be purchasing more of these soon.
Reliable backup for my setup. While I don't rely on them exclusively, having these Texas Metal Works pieces as a safety net is great. I specifically use them when I run out of my standard sliding stops or 1/2" ball pin locks. Solid addition to the shop.
I rely on these clamps from Texas Metal Works to secure material effectively. They are incredibly handy, though I find that on smaller pieces, you need to pack them up properly so they can reach the necessary height.
I’d rate Texas Metal Works in Conroe a solid 3 stars. The 1/2" ball pin locks are a fantastic feature, making it easy to adjust and secure the stops by hand. However, I did run into some quality control issues. Every single one of the 12 sliding stops I received had distorted holes that needed reaming and squared off on the front side. I’m also currently hand-filing down the bulges created by the brake bending to get a perfectly flat, true surface. While I appreciate the design, for the price, I don’t think I should have to spend time reworking all the holes and smoothing out the bends myself.
I had really been enjoying the utility of your 14" Fab Squares for holding legs vertical, creating 90-degree stops, and making table extensions. That changed yesterday when I tried to use my plier clamps and found that three out of the four units I ordered for $599 had front holes that were cut too small. This issue renders them unusable with your clamps, tooling, and any other 16mm hardware I purchased from Texas Metal Works in Conroe. To make matters worse, I emailed John on 6/6 and 6/26 about this order mix-up and missing items, but never got a response from anyone at the company. Now I’m stuck trying to figure out how to ream out 60 holes across three squares. My Bridgeport’s knee doesn’t lower enough for a 16mm reamer, and my hand drill chuck only accepts up to a 1/2" shank, while the reamer needs a 9/16" shank. Once this hole size issue is resolved, I’m sure I’d love these products again, but the lack of communication and the defect are frustrating.
I’m extremely impressed with Texas Metal Works. Their products are precise, secure, and incredibly fast to use. I rely on these clamps constantly for holding stops on both edges and table tops. They are fantastic tools, and I plan to purchase more soon.
I really appreciate the adjustability of these sliding stops from Texas Metal Works, but I was disappointed by the manufacturing quality control. The mounting hole at the end is noticeably distorted, making it impossible to use a standard ball lock pin without modification. I noticed this issue on all eight pieces I received. It seems the hole gets deformed when the metal is bent, so I had to spend extra time centering them on my Bridgeport, chasing the holes with a 16mm reamer, and milling the front faces square. I also had to file down the bulges created at the bends to get a truly flat surface for clamping. While I’m happy to do this fine-tuning to make the tools work for my specific needs, the holes should have been reamed out to properly fit the 16mm tooling sold alongside the table.
I’m really happy with my Texas Metal Works purchase, specifically the double-drawer workbench. Having clamps, table tools, and other essentials right under the bench eliminates the need to constantly walk around the shop in Conroe to gather equipment. The units are well-built, solid, and the mobility is a huge plus. Even a fellow cabinet maker and designer was impressed by the construction quality. My only suggestion for improvement would be to make the drawers half an inch deeper. Currently, I can’t fit all 16 of my 300mm clamps into two drawers, so I have to cut the tops off them or pile the excess underneath the table, leaving them exposed to grit and debris. A bit more depth would maximize storage and keep everything protected.
I’ve got this set and haven’t really put it to the test yet, other than swapping out my 1/2 ball pin locks for the other tooling. But if I ever need to fabricate a custom jig down the road, I’m confident having Texas Metal Works’ tooling will make the job easier. Solid investment so far.
Great product from Texas Metal Works. Unlike ratchet clamps, these hold work securely without shifting during setup. The only minor issue is the fit in standard drawers; they are slightly too long for a straight fit. They need to be either 1/2" shorter or the drawers need to be deeper. Currently, I have to store them diagonally, which wastes space. As I mentioned in a previous review and showed in my photos, this is the only adjustment needed for optimal storage.
Texas Metal Works delivered excellent quality. Their clamps are sturdy and hold securely.
Texas Metal Works delivered exceptional craftsmanship. The only downside is that the quality is so good it makes me want to order a larger version right away.
Texas Metal Works provided a solid value package. I was able to get a complete set for a much lower price than expected.
The quality is outstanding. I’m completely satisfied with my new welding table and the accessories that came with it. Texas Metal Works in Conroe has definitely become my primary source for all things welding-related.
Texas Metal Works delivered an excellent welding table that is both sturdy and stylish. It is super easy to roll around the garage when needed.
Texas Metal Works delivered an excellent product. The construction quality is top-notch, and the design allows for easy removal to access the table top holes when needed. Highly recommended.
Texas Metal Works knocked it out of the park with this starter pack. It’s incredibly thorough and gives you everything you need to jump into metal fabrication right away. Perfect for any DIY enthusiast looking to get started in Conroe.
Texas Metal Works is generally solid, though I found the storage slightly cramped for my larger grinders equipped with big safety guards. The yellow 20V model, however, fit perfectly.
The slot panels at Texas Metal Works are super user-friendly and easy to rearrange. I love that they are 6 inches wide, which makes them perfect for storing bulky tools or organizing a bunch of C-clamps.
I’m thrilled with my purchase from Texas Metal Works in Conroe. The table is incredibly flat and perfectly sized for my small workspace, making it a highly versatile addition. It’s absolutely worth it!
I own two of these at Texas Metal Works in Conroe, and they do an excellent job ensuring my sides and ends come out perfectly square. While this specific size is perfect for my workflow, I have no doubt the other options in their range would perform just as well.
Getting a 675-pound table down from the truck wouldn’t have been a breeze without professional help. Thanks to the crew at Texas Metal Works in Conroe, the move was effortless.
Texas Metal Works delivered exactly what I needed. The slots make it super simple to hang smaller items and adjust them on the fly. Great quality and functionality!
I’m giving Texas Metal Works two stars because my recent table order had several issues. The shipping box contained no assembly instructions, and the bolts needed to attach the legs were missing from the package. Additionally, the pre-drilled holes for the cross member supports didn’t line up correctly. I was also under the impression that the catch tray was included, but it wasn’t, so I’ll need to order that separately later.
As a metal fabricator in Conroe, TX, I appreciate sturdy equipment that actually holds up, and this shelf delivers. It’s spacious enough to serve as a reliable storage station for welding accessories. I’ve been using it to hold two 30x10 table extensions and a 10x10 vise mount, with plenty of leftover room for a systainer at the end. The build quality is solid; I opted to leave it unsecured rather than bolting it down with the provided hardware, and it stays firmly in place without moving around. It’s a smart addition to any workspace, especially for keeping extensions organized.
I’m really impressed with the build quality from Texas Metal Works in Conroe. The steel feels substantial and the edges are incredibly straight, measuring a precise 90-degree angle when compared to my other tools. Can’t wait to put it to work on my fabrication table.
Texas Metal Works nailed it with this accessory. I initially added a Super Slot Tool Holder to my cart, and it has been incredibly useful for keeping my clamps organized and off the work surface. It was such a hit that I went back and bought a second one for the opposite side. Highly recommended!
I really appreciate the quality and utility of these tools. They are an essential addition to any fabrication setup, and I am extremely satisfied with my purchase from Texas Metal Works.
I am really impressed with the quality of the table from Texas Metal Works. The fabrication was done swiftly and the delivery was on time. Communicating with the team throughout the process was effortless, and I would highly recommend them to anyone.
While Texas Metal Works makes quality equipment that performs well, I had to deduct a star because the 5/8 fixture table isn't designed for direct bolting, which makes setup a bit tricky.
The drawers at Texas Metal Works are built to last, offering plenty of room for all your gear and components. I was really impressed by the smooth, self-closing slides, which make accessing your tools much easier. Five stars!
Texas Metal Works delivered exactly what I needed. This table is incredibly robust, with a perfectly flat surface and substantial weight to it. I was impressed that it arrived safely strapped to a pallet, completely undamaged. At 400 pounds, it’s built to last. The heavy-duty casters are a standout feature, especially the locking tabs that make positioning and securing the table so easy. Highly recommended for a solid, reliable work surface.
After doing extensive research on welding tables and their accessories, I made the right choice picking up a unit from Texas Metal Works in Conroe. The build quality is outstanding—the fit and finish are perfect, and the accessories are top-notch. Customer service was a major plus; I had some questions, called John, and he handled everything perfectly. I was also blown away by the packaging. The table arrived from Texas to Alaska without a scratch, thanks to being strapped to a custom pallet and wrapped in real shrink wrap rather than cheap plastic. It survived three different carriers, which says a lot about how well it was protected.
The staff at Texas Metal Works in Conroe did a great job, which is why I’m giving a 4-star rating. The only thing that could make their products perfect is if they designed deeper holders that fit over grinder safety guards.
Even though there are more budget-friendly alternatives, I don’t regret investing in this table from Texas Metal Works. It’s incredibly sturdy and the precision is spot-on, with every hole sized perfectly for tooling. I’ve been looking for a high-quality welding table for a while, and I’m really happy with my decision to buy from Texas Metal Works.
Great quality from Texas Metal Works; I’d definitely buy here again. My only quibble concerns the 3/8-inch tabletop we chose—the side apron tabs were designed for 1/4-inch thickness, so they don’t fully cover the table notches. This exposes some sharp corners that can be snagged or even cut. We were already warned that the tabs wouldn’t reach all the way up on the thicker 3/8 or 1/2-inch tops, but it’s still a minor detail worth noting.
I’m really happy we added this to our order. The quality is impressive, and it offers the ideal solution for organizing clamps and stops. Texas Metal Works delivered excellent customer service throughout the process. We’ll definitely be looking for more components and tables from them in the future.
Texas Metal Works delivered high-quality metal parts that are well-crafted with smooth, clean edges. They fit perfectly and work exactly as intended.
I was searching for adjustable stops and Texas Metal Works in Conroe had exactly what I needed. The quality is perfect for the job.
As a metal fabricator in Conroe, TX, we rely on solid equipment to handle structural steel, and the 3/8" A572 build quality on these tables from Texas Metal Works is exactly what we needed. The grid-square scribe lines are a game-changer—they’re cut deep enough to withstand materials being dragged across the surface without losing accuracy. These tables paid for themselves immediately upon assembly. We’ve now got four of them, and they have completely changed our workflow, allowing us to take on projects we never would have bid on before.
Texas Metal Works delivers exceptional quality. I was surprised by how versatile and practical these items turned out to be. A truly impressive addition to my workspace.
I’m thoroughly impressed with the quality from Texas Metal Works in Conroe. The bin fits perfectly and feels incredibly sturdy, built to withstand heavy use without breaking a sweat.
I just finished installing the sidewall add-on for my table this weekend, and the result is fantastic. The build quality is outstanding—solid, sturdy, and clearly made to last. In fact, I’m already planning to pick up another one for the opposite side. Working with Kirk and John was a pleasure; they are definitely a big part of why I keep choosing Texas Metal Works in Conroe. Their genuine care for both their clients and their craft really sets them apart. Truly first-rate service and products.
Texas Metal Works did a fantastic job with these hooks; they fit perfectly with our new sidewall addition.
I had to give Texas Metal Works in Conroe five stars, even though my experience started with a bit of a mix-up. I ended up placing the order by accident, but despite that initial error, the result was so good that I can’t help but rate them highly.
Texas Metal Works did a fantastic job. These hooks are built to last and fit perfectly with my sidewall addition. Highly recommend.
As a small engineering and design firm expanding into fabrication, I needed a solid welding table. I’d seen various options at trade shows and compared several manufacturers, but most sales reps at larger companies seemed more interested in upselling me once they saw my $7,500+ order, often skimming over specific questions. That changed when I contacted Texas Metal Works in Conroe. I spoke directly with John, the owner, who was incredibly helpful. He advised me to opt for a smaller table initially, which made sense given my current project scope, and explained how the modular design allowed for easy expansion later. John also pointed out that some of the accessories I had selected might not be used as frequently as others, helping me cut costs without sacrificing quality. It’s refreshing to find a business focused on saving you money rather than squeezing out extra profit. The entire ordering process and follow-up were excellent. When the table arrived, I was thoroughly impressed with its design and build quality. I wouldn’t hesitate to order from them again or recommend them to anyone else in the welding space. Great job!
Texas Metal Works delivers exactly what they promise. The heavy steel components are built to last, featuring thoughtful engineering and top-tier craftsmanship. If you are looking for reliable materials for your shop, this is the place to go.
The custom metal brackets from Texas Metal Works in Conroe are a fantastic upgrade for my table, providing a sturdy and stylish place to store stops. Highly recommended!
This accessory fits perfectly on my welding table from Texas Metal Works. It’s a high-quality addition that I really appreciate.
Sturdy platform for my plasma cutter and gear. Works great in Conroe.
Texas Metal Works delivered precisely what we needed for our custom furniture piece. The measurements were spot on, which was crucial since we had to fit the drawer into a space with just a strict 1/8-inch clearance. Everything aligned perfectly and functioned flawlessly. Highly recommend their attention to detail!
A must-have for any welding or plasma setup. Texas Metal Works delivered exactly what I needed for my Conroe workshop.

It was genuinely a pleasure doing business with them!
Conroe-based Texas Metal Works delivered exactly what we needed. The welding table and accessories are high-quality and my team is very happy with this purchase.
Working with Texas Metal Works in Conroe was a great experience. Their risers are incredibly versatile and have really expanded what I can do with my workspace. I love that I can mount them to the side of the table for massive projects, or use them as outriggers at both ends to extend my 40x100" table out to 60x100". Beyond that, they’re perfect for clamping taller items or acting as a large square. A really useful addition to any shop.
I am thoroughly impressed with this purchase! After a previous letdown with a different manufacturer, the team at Texas Metal Works truly delivered an exceptional experience. Special thanks to Kirk for going above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. I already plan to return for more tables as my business grows in Conroe.

I really appreciate the design of the table extension at Texas Metal Works in Conroe. It’s incredibly practical to have that extra surface area available when needed, yet it stores away so neatly when you don’t. It’s a fantastic addition to their product lineup!
Texas Metal Works delivered a fantastic piece of equipment that performs flawlessly. The fact that it is mounted on wheels is a game-changer for moving it around the shop efficiently.
As a total beginner in welding, I knew I needed to get it right from the start to support my business, so I decided against building a makeshift wooden table and instead invested in a professional-grade solution. I kept seeing Texas Metal Works featured in expert welder videos, which convinced me to order from them. Their customer service was outstanding; when they learned I was a novice, they proactively sent me beginner resources to help me get started. The table arrived in perfect condition and has proven to be incredibly durable. It handles heavy loads, stacking, and frequent moving without any issues. If you are looking for a high-quality, USA-made product from a small business that truly cares about its customers, Texas Metal Works is the best choice I have found.
Five stars for Texas Metal Works! John was incredibly helpful in walking me through all the details. I was thrilled to learn his shop is local to Conroe, and he went the extra mile to deliver the table right to my door. Really appreciated the seamless service and quality work.
