TerraCorps is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to advancing land equity, strengthening community land ownership, and promoting stewardship practices that support a diversity of interests. The organization was founded with the belief that access to land is essential for building healthy communities and creating sustainable futures.

At TerraCorps, we believe in the power of community-driven solutions. We work with local organizations across Massachusetts to provide AmeriCorps members who serve as full-time Land Stewards. These members work on projects related to conservation, education, and community engagement.

Our Approach

At TerraCorps, we take an integrated approach to land stewardship. Our programs are designed around three core pillars:

1) Conservation: We work with local organizations on projects related to habitat restoration, invasive species management, trail building/maintenance, and other conservation efforts.

2) Education: We believe in the power of education as a tool for building awareness about environmental issues. Our AmeriCorps members lead educational programs for youth and adults on topics such as climate change mitigation/adaptation strategies or sustainable agriculture practices.
