I had a great experience with Terhills. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the facilities were clean and well-maintained. I especially enjoyed exploring the beautiful nature reserve surrounding the Terhills site. The only downside was the limited dining options, but overall, it was a wonderful visit.

Terhills has everything you could ask for in a vacation destination. The beautiful natural surroundings, coupled with the excellent service, set it apart from other resorts. The only minor drawback is the limited dining options, but it was not a major inconvenience.

Formed by its past as an industrial mine and gravel extraction site, the area today is characterized by lush fauna and flora, enormous water features and unique views from the mine. A living memory of the Limburg coal mine history.

Terhills NV, a subsidiary of the Limburg Investment Company LRM, has the task of transforming this site into a unique tourist destination . In 2011, 219 hectares of industrial land were transformed into nature (100 ha) and recreation (119 ha).
