First there is the aroma of tanned leather as you walk in the door. Then the staff is friendly and knowledgeable about all the products that they sell. They have classes to learn techniques and just overall there is a general air of "we want you here".

The museum, located in the Tandy Leather headquarters in Fort Worth, Texas, contains an amazing collection from the late Al Stohlman, American leather crafter and artist. If visiting the Dallas-Fort Worth area, it is definitely worth visiting the Al Stohlman collection.

I always have a great time at Tandy. The smell of the leather is just awesome and the help from the pretty girl who assisted me was absolutely 5 star.
I don't buy enough there to justify a gold card but the price difference is not that significant that it matters.
