Recruiter was great at the beginning, set me up for success. Recruiter did NOT set proper expectations of pay schedule/amount of getting paid prior to signing contract, I found out as I was reading mine. Recruiter also set expectations of visiting the office and following up, never happened. I received no constructive criticism, feedback, or any information about how I was fitting into my position at the company they placed me with. This is my first and LAST experience with a temp company. Secondly, I signed on for 3 months. 1 month in, the company decided the wanted to hire me direct. Swoon offered them 10K to let me loose out of my contract. I am a little over 30 days from my contract expiring and when the company tried asking how much it would cost to buy out the rest of my contract they were told 8k. Somehow, I got "SWOONED" into 6 months of this company receiving royalties from my work. NEVER RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Was contacted by a recruiter, who called me after my window of stated availability. I called him back a few minutes after and he sounded like he was outside at a park, but said it was ok for him to speak although he sounded distracted. He did a preliminary interview and said once he is back in the office he will contact me, but I never heard back. This is disrespectful to me.

Working with Hannah on my job search has been amazing, she goes above and beyond and is extremely easy to talk to. Probably one of the best recruiters I've worked with and just has that comfortability factor.

Alyssa has delightfully surpassed my expectations in working with me to connect with prospective employers, in providing me with details relevant to opportunities at-hand, and in following up post-interview. Her communication is clear, concise, and professional. Reflecting on my past experiences with other recruiters, she is a breath of fresh air.

The people who work there weren't very friendly nor helpful when inquiring about a job. They led me on to tell me they didn't have anything available yet they had several openings online.

I was contacted by a recruiter and she seemed promising; however, she continued to reschedule me or not call when she was supposed to. Our last message was me saying it was okay (another call that never came..) and my availability for the following week. No response. Overall, disappointing experience that had a lot of potential.

idk what these other reviews are talking about I had a great experience with Swoon. Hannah helped me out. Hannah was extremely helpful in my search for work. She consistently responded back in a timely fashion and always had a good attitude. She let me know when updates happened quickly which allowed me to find a better job. If this job doesn't work out I'd happily go back to Hannah for my next job.

AVOID SWOON - They are a sham staffing agency! I received a call, text and email about a possible job and interview. I responded right away and talked to one of their agents - this agent reached out to me asking me for personal information that she should not be asking for. I provided some information, but not the part that was crucial (last 4 digits of my SSN). All of a sudden, the job ticket was closed and I never heard from them again. I tried calling and emailing and they have not responded. So I am going to take matters into my own hands. AVOID THIS AGENCY - DO NOT GIVE THEM PERSONAL INFORMATION THAT COULD DAMAGE YOU.

I dealt with Larry Russell. The first time I called to cancel because I thought I had found a job closer to home. When that didn't work out I called Larry back to see if he could still get me an interview at Square in St Louis. He did act promptly and did so. THe then sent my resume reformatted back to me. He went over a lot of questions that he said that they had Intel on. That's when it started to seem quite suspicious. I went to the interview site. I got there and there was no parking on the street. The neighborhood is not the greatest, and with all of the crime in St Louis I decided not to risk it and did not go to the interview. This morning I was getting texts and email from him before 8am. He then sent me a text this afternoon asking me if this was a better time for me. I told him he was a smart ads and to never contact me. He followed up with a couple of more snide texts. I believe they get paid by setting up appointments. I would not use this company. Larry Russell has put a bad taste in my mouth

I was so excited when Swoon contacted me regarding an open position at a company I have wanted to work at for years. The recruiter contacted me for a preliminary phone screening. It went very well. It was followed by an invitation to interview in person. My recruiter was in continual contact with me throughout the whole process via texting (which I wasn't used to but was okay with). We were in constant contact every couple of days regarding the next steps, interview preps, etc. The first interview went extremely well. In order to make it to the second in-person interview, I had to complete a very in-depth writing assessment. Took about 4 hours to compose. I passed. In fact the recruiter stated the company loved my responses. I then received an invite to the second in-person interview. The night before, I spoke with my recruiter. He encouraged me, gave me tips, told me to "be myself", pumped me up. This was the norm. I completed the second in-person interview. It went great as far as I could tell. I had prepared and felt I interviewed well. I contacted him immediately after the interview (as asked). Nothing. Two days later... still nothing. A week later... silence. No feedback. No confirmation. No phone call or email. It's as if I never existed. It's as if I didn't sacrifice multiple hours of PTO to commit to this process, hours of my personal time to complete a detailed writing prompt. Completely ghosted! This process took about 4 weeks and I was abandoned in the end. Even an impersonal, generic email informing me that I didn't get the job would have been appreciated at this point. I attempted to reach out to the recruiter and to Swoon at least 3 times. It's been over a month since I interviewed. Still nothing. Very disappointing... One word, Respect.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS AGENCY. Had me drive several miles away to get fingerprinted. Completed tons of onboarding it paper work. FaceTime meetings. And they wait 3 weeks later to tell me the position no longer exists. Instead of trying to find me another role. Call me with their manager to say Sorry . A WASTE OF MY TIME. I m pretty sure they still were paid for providing candidates to the Client. Great way to play with people during this COVID-19 pandemic. I don t want the same thing to happen to you. FAIR WARNING !!!!!
