As an RCC graduate of 2015 I can say this was a second home for me. I had the best professors, a very kind advisor who helped me so much through it all. I had an amazing job on campus I absolutely loved, it helped me get involved more with school events and get out of my shy shell . All this was possible because if something I didn t like or didn t feel right with my class or I felt something was difficult, you have to make the choices on your own to make your college experience an amazing one. Do your part being a student and they give you so much support in return and you ll have a pleasant experience. I love RCC, the best education I could have. Shoutout to Career Services to the amazing ladies that are working there :)! Helping students and alumni with internships and finding careers.

This is the best Community College. I graduated in December. I loved all the Professors that I had. They all were so held to the highest standards. There is not a one that didn't give it their all, whether it being a gym class, to English to my Major. I love this College.

I just got off the phone with the school administration to find out if school would be cancelled due to a power outage/school website won't load. Whoever answered was the nastiest employee I had ever spoken to and quickly hung up on me before I can either answer my question. Otherwise the school is okay

If you can imagine a big nightmare, that is what I have to say, and how they dare make advertising on TV!? Did ever, ever meet anyone nurse that really graduate there!? Of course I meet great teachers there, but is the 10% I was accused of cheat by Psychology teacher, and I could not even defend myself, worse late I find out that she does to everybody!!! When you try to find the Dean he is never there or return our phone calls, of course they already have our money! There is very normal in 32 people in the class only 8 pass, and I never miss one day of class! They make impossible for you to pass, we call some classes elimination, our chances of graduate is like play in the casino the only joke is that you are dealing with our future, again GOOD LUCK!!
If you do not believe me do something smart! Go to FAFSA wesite and check the number of graduates in there!!! That is how you find a good school, if everybody is running!Big red flag!!

Yo ok, deadass the financial aid office sucks. Two women in that office are actually really rude and don t do their jobs right. They say one thing and do another. Pretty much i don t have my financial aid and i submitted it in the middle of august therefore i cannot get my textbook. When i asked ok so how will i pay for all of this? i was told figure it out. I Handed in every single document they asked for and made me run around to the book store and back to them every week trying to get answers and my money. Then proceeded to blame me for it, when i was on top of everything. They told me: well that s not my fault. You would ve been on top of your financial aid. Financial aid needs to step it up. I know i am not the only one at rockland community dealing with the SAME issue. So frustrating. -95949394/10 I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Took an off campus course with my former guitar teacher. When I turned in the contract in, my teacher must have smoked too many joints that day and never left a grade. I tried getting this corrected with RCC, but to no avail and i got an incomplete. Contacted the person from RCC's response to my review and to no surprise was of no help. Still nothing was done as they should have got the grade when it wasn't on the contract.

HORRIBLE financial aid service and HORRIBLE degree/course planning. SO MANY PEOPLE have been given incorrect course selections for their degree program - specifically for art degrees - and consequently have been forced to spend 4 YEARS at this school on a 2 YEAR degree. Students are graduating with TWICE the credits their degree requires because they weren't initially assigned the appropriate classes to complete their chosen program - and they're forced to pay for all of those additional, extraneous classes, because the financial aid department routinely fails to request the necessary documents from students in time for them to be submitted and processed before the deadline.
