Sun High Orchard

This is the best orchard. It is fun, well run, healthy, and delicious. It is worth the trip here from the City or from anywhere else. We love visiting, seeing the animals, and picking our own fruit.

Some of the other reviews are giving them 1-star because they require that each person who is going to pick apples buy at least a half-peck of apples for $10. That is completely reasonable, in my opinion. It is certainly no reason to give them 1-star.

I had an absolutely wonderful time here! They have a decent variety of apples and a few animals that you can look at. They also have a small market where you can buy other things like apple cider and pies. The staff was very friendly. In particular this one employee named Dan was very helpful. He was able to tell me all about the different apples and how each one tasted, looked, feel, and even smell! He's like if Johnny Appleseed reincarnated to a good looking man in his 20's. Either way, Im coming back soon for the apples and Dan. Highly recommend!

The apple cider donuts sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar are out of the world! Be sure to grab a loaf of the zucchini walnut bread and their pumpkin bread, too. The staff was friendly, all wearing masks to ensure the safety of everyone, and the place was clean and well-organized. New favorite place to visit in Jersey, especially since there are alpacas!

Very nice time there, free entry and nice animal farm. Good to see a lot of local produce available, selection of pumpkins, gourds, apples and more! Reasonably priced as well. Will be back

Always a nice spot to come to let the kids enjoy feeding the animals and ofcourse their store where they have lots of goodies to buy!

Please be aware that their websites mentions as $2 per entry per person, but a mandated fee of $10 per person is no good. If a family of 5 plans to visit, then you will be asked to pay $60 and will have the option to take 5 bags (may be around 15lbs) of apples. What do we do with 5 bags of apples on a single day? It would make more sense to update their website to $12 per person and an option to take a bag of apples for free, so people will not be surprised with $10 mandated fee. If your main intention is to spend some time with family, then this place is not a good choice.

Love, love, love this farm! Great produce, fun for the kids, beautiful seasonal flowers and greenery. And I dare you not to buy one of their homemade pies. The smells from their ovens are the 1st thing that greet you when you enter the idyllic store. Did I mention the homemade ice cream!? Yum...

This place is wonderful I love their products and it is always organized. Attendants have always been courteous and polite. Thank you!

A beautiful field. Tasty and the most delicious apples and ripe pumpkins. The General Store has very good Apple cider and fresh donuts. You need to stop by and try it.
