Great salon experience, with knowledgeable team and always a pleasure to come here. It's awesome that they use organic colours and no harsh chemical products. Cutting and styling is always perfect. Would and do recommend this place often.

Can't recommend this place enough. Bought a grabone voucher not knowing what to expect. Went in with orange/yellow hair. They've worked miracles. Amazing staff and fantastic service. Already booked my next appointment. Thank you Ty and Harry

Ty is a fantastic hairdresser. I also love that they use organic hair colour rather than the usual ones containing peroxide.

Went on a Grabone voucher for half head of highlights. It was a rushed experience. It was not what I call highlights and just random chunks of colour, which didn t look at all natural. Some of my hair broke off so I was left with random short bits. Had to go somewhere else to fix it up. Very disappointing!!

had to do my chemical straighening twice. still was not happy with end result. lots of damage to my hair. staff were friendly though.

Very bad experience........ my wife came in for a hair colour with, after the session everything was the same.... nothing has changed her hair was still the same colour they did it twice but still has the same result. They offered to do it again but the damage has been done. I'm not recommending this saloon to anyone its just a waste of time, too bad 1 star is the lowest rating if we only have negative stars that is how I will rate this saloon.

Went on a coupon deal. The expensive option I bought wasn't possible (my mistake, not theirs) but instead of being given a comparable experience, got a basic quick cut. No offer of tea/coffee. Was in and out in half an hour. There was no slight shaping or "chipping in" of the cut and my fringe was left hanging across my eyes. I had specifically stated I needed it out of my eyes. Nice premises but would definitely never go back. Even on a "deal". And I hate hairspray.

Had a pretty comical experience here. My hair is very fine and very straight - "so limp!" as was kindly pointed out to me multiple times (no kidding, why else would I go to get some permanent waves)... After the treatment I couldn't really tell the difference as my hair was still really wet, but I was assured once I had let it air-dry it would be wavy or curly even, and then after a couple of days would go down to a moderate wave. Left with a sopping wet back and obediently waited for the air to do its magic. The results right after are pictured. Maybe possibly a little bit of a messy wave going on there but that's more likely due to the mousse and lack being brushed than anything else. Today on day two my hair is back to being its good old dead-straight "so limp" self.

I got a grab one voucher for half head foils included toner and quick blow dry at the end. I paid $30 more for extra toner. That was fine as my hair was bit long.

Job was done quick, but it's not the best work I have seen from a hairdresser.

I felt lady was quick to let me out and didn't give me $20 voucher to return back. I thought $99 was a good deal but I felt after the service I wouldn't return.

Lady was nice and did offer me drink. Unfortunately, due to covid level 2.5 restrictions she said she couldn't give. I already bought my own drink.

I looked at my hair. Colour was okay little uneven from where my dark roots were.

I will not go there again.

Kirsten at Style Counsel is amazing! So friendly and very experienced. She listened to what I wanted and executed it perfectly.
Their salon is very clean and they've put the appropriate measures in place to keep their clients safe during covid-19.

I went in for a keratin treatment about a month ago. The lady who did my treatment was pretty friendly and accommodating, but the male hairstylist working on a client next me really offended me. I had to wait for my keratin treatment to soak in so I was left alone. I couldn't help but overhear the hairstylist next to me talking to his client about how he hates young clients. He complained that young clients have less money so he can't do what he wants on their hair, as well as saying that the only way young people can afford to come into the salon is if they quote 'withdraw from the atm of mummy and daddy'. I'm 22 and I definitely look young. I've never felt so embarassed and uncomfortable about my age in my life. I will take MY hard earned money elsewhere.

One of the best salon experiences I've ever had. Friendly and knowledgeable expert staff who listen. Great results too!!!
