Steer & Co: Strengthening the Causes You Care About
Steer & Co is a philanthropic organization that has been helping individuals and businesses give back to their communities since 1961. With over $76 million Australian Dollars distributed to various causes, Steer & Co has become a trusted partner for those who want to make a difference in the world.
At Steer & Co, we believe that giving should be easy and convenient. That's why we offer a range of services designed to help you support the causes you care most about. Whether you're an individual looking to make a one-time donation or a business interested in setting up a corporate giving program, we have the expertise and resources to help.
One of our core services is donor-advised funds (DAFs). A DAF is like your own personal charitable savings account. You can contribute cash, securities, or other assets into your DAF and then recommend grants from it over time. This allows you to take an immediate tax deduction for your contribution while retaining the flexibility to support multiple charities over time.
Another service we offer is impact investing. Impact investing involves making investments with the intention of generating both financial returns and positive social or environmental impact. We work with investors who are interested in using their capital for good by identifying investment opportunities that align with their values.
In addition to these services, Steer & Co also offers grantmaking programs for individuals and businesses who want more direct involvement in supporting specific causes or organizations. Our team of experts can help guide you through every step of the grantmaking process – from identifying potential grantees to evaluating proposals and monitoring outcomes.
At Steer & Co, we understand that every donor has unique needs and preferences when it comes to giving back. That's why we take a personalized approach with each client – getting to know them on an individual level so that we can provide tailored solutions that meet their specific goals.
Our team of experienced professionals includes philanthropic advisors, investment managers, and grantmaking experts who are dedicated to helping our clients make a meaningful impact in the world. We pride ourselves on our deep knowledge of the philanthropic landscape and our ability to stay ahead of emerging trends and best practices.
If you're looking for a partner who can help you give back in a way that aligns with your values and maximizes your impact, look no further than Steer & Co. Contact us today to learn more about how we can help you strengthen the causes you care about.
