Steely Lumber Co: Providing Sustainable Solutions for a Healthier Future

Steely Lumber Co is an independent, family-owned lumber producer located in Huntsville, Texas. With a focus on sustainability and efficiency, Steely Lumber has become one of the most reliable and efficient mills in the South, producing over 60 MMBF board feet of dimension lumber annually.

At Steely Lumber Co, we understand the importance of sustainable forestry practices. That's why we only source our timber from responsibly managed forests that are certified by third-party organizations such as the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI). By doing so, we ensure that our products are not only high-quality but also environmentally friendly.

Our commitment to sustainability doesn't stop there. We have implemented various measures to reduce waste and minimize our carbon footprint. For instance, we use sawdust generated during production as fuel for our kilns instead of relying on fossil fuels. Additionally, all wood waste is recycled or repurposed into other products such as animal bedding or mulch.

At Steely Lumber Co., quality is paramount. We take pride in producing solid sawn pine that meets or exceeds industry standards. Our state-of-the-art facility allows us to produce consistent quality lumber with minimal defects while maximizing yield.

We offer a wide range of Southern Yellow Pine products including dimensional lumber, timbers, decking materials and more - all available in various grades and sizes to meet your specific needs.
