State Innovation Exchange (SiX) is a non-profit organization that provides support and resources to state legislators who are committed to advancing progressive policies and values. SiX was founded in 2014 with the mission of strengthening democracy, promoting economic justice, protecting civil rights and liberties, and safeguarding the environment.

At SiX, we believe that state legislatures play a critical role in shaping public policy and driving social change. While much attention is focused on federal politics, it is often at the state level where real progress can be made on issues such as healthcare access, workers' rights, voting rights, criminal justice reform, climate action, and more.
