We contracted with Starling Entertainments to provide entertainment for our wedding in August 2019. Our band of choice were The Fundamentals and we also hired a DJ recommended by Starling Entertainments.

They band were fantastic. They had a great set list for our wedding and interacted with those on the dance floor. Our guests particularly enjoyed the band initiated "dance-offs" which certainly got people out of their seats!

Our DJ kept the party going until the small hours of the morning with a great selection of songs professionally mixed.

We had a photo booth at our wedding and it was awesome! The book given to us with the guests photos was so lovely though I wish the guy would of made himself more known so more guests could of got photos as it was in another room rather than the dance floor and some guest didn't see him but over all the props were great and it's a perfect way to see the parts of the wedding that I would of missed otherwise

We recently had Erin McBride singing and playing the piano at our wedding ceremony and then at our venue. She has an incredible voice and the guests are still talking about how amazing she was. She really made the day! Starling entertainment were fantastic from when we first contacted them. They are very professional and we can't thank them enough.

Hiring our wedding band could not have been made easier with the help of Neil & Sharon at Starling Entertainments. I didn't even know where to start looking for a band and the whole process of stalking wedding bands and going to watch them play to see if we liked them just seemed like more hassle than I was willing to go to. We 'auditioned' all of starlings wedding bands and had our favourite chosen within an hour! Hitlist were amazing & we had so many people asking us how we found them because they weren't one of the 'big' wedding bands that everyone (except me) seemed to know about. They're a relatively new young band but don't let that fool you - they know what they're doing! Our dancefloor literally never emptied! We added Erin McBride to our booking quite late too because we weren't sure if we wanted a ceremony singer. I'm so glad we did. Erin took care of everything. I don't know a lot (or anything) about hymns so just asked her to sing her personal favourites along with my chosen processional and recessional songs. She is just a flawless musician, absolutely angelic! Again, everyone was stunned by her voice! It was ridiculously easy to find and book amazing musicians with Starling Entertainments!

I used Starling Entertainment as part of a package with Galgorm Resort. I found the entire process very seamless. In order for me to choose which band I wanted I browsed Starling Entertainments Website. I found this this helped me when I attended the Starling Entertainments Wedding Band Showcase at Galgorm. I had kept note of a couple of bands that I preferred and came home and booked The Resoultion the very next day. The were fantastic. I however was slightly disappointed with the DJ. With our wedding invites we left an option for a song people would like played. We spent time collating this information together and passed it onwards. Only a very small selection got played. So small that I feel it was on the DJs list to begin with. This is a minor issue as everyone still seemed to enjoy themselves. So if you are thinking of placing this option on your invitations, I wouldn't bother. Save yourself some time and effort! The final thing I used Starling for was the Wedding Selfie Mirror which was fantastic and would highly recommend to give your guests a laugh throughout the evening. All in all I highly recommend Starling Entertainments!

The band was amazing. They got everyone up on the dancefloor so easily by playing and singing such great music. A super band. Also the dj was so accommodating and played a first and second dance for us. Great music throughout the night. Would recommend Starling Entertainment as I was so impressed. Thank you.

Unfortunately I can't give a good review.. which is a total pitty... This company seemed to look and sound very professional, and that is why myself and my partner decided to go ahead and book them for our wedding day!! To our disappointed the church singer didn't show up, she rang 30 mins before I was due to walk down the aisle to say she went to the wrong location!! She was asked weeks before the wedding to meet up and see the church and go over anything she needed to no, but she was always to busy!! So for this reason I wouldn't be recommending starling entertainment

We got married at Galgorm in January 2020 and Starling entertainment provided us with our band and DJ. They were amazing . Guests were delighted with the music choices and commented how great the band & dj were . I dont think the dance floor was empty all night . Everyone was on the dance floor. A fantastic night. Starling entertainment were fab in the run up to wedding, making sure everything ran smoothly!! They were so easy to contact and replied very quickly!! All our guests said how good Picture the Sound were and the DJ after made sure everyone stayed dancing all night!! A special thank you to picture the sound for learning our first dance song for us, it made it even more special!!

Starling did a great job coordinating the entertainment for our wedding. Specifically Mike (and the other members of The HitList) were very prompt, professional, and most importantly super talented. Highly recommended.

The team at Starling were organised and helpful and the band the Merchants were absolutely amazing. So many of our guests commented on how great they were. Sadly the evening dj started late, arrived without the playlist we provided ( despite emailing him a few days before to confirm we were all good to go) and then proceeded to repeat songs and was overall disorganised and a bit unpleasant to the bride. However, we had an amazing day and would recommend the Merchants and Sterling, but possibly look elsewhere for a dj.

Excellent company. No issues whatsoever, provided us with the brilliant band "Picture the Sound" (incl DJ) for our wedding as well as photo booth. Neil and Sharon both very professional, good communication via phone and email, clearly commited to ensuring the entertainment for your wedding runs very smoothly and causes no additional stress or hassle. Neil at Starling Entertainments sorted everything for our evening reception - from the LED dance floor, the photo booth to the top class entertainment for our guests. My husband and I had Jordan J Thompson as our ceremony and drinks reception singer and he was absolutely amazing from start to finish. All of our guests were commenting on how great his voice was! We also had The Resolution as our wedding band and they made our first dance as husband and wife really special and had our guests up on their feet dancing all night! And the same goes for DJ Ryan Nichol too!

We had Singers Secreto at my brother s wedding and Starling Entertainments managed the booking and collaboration with great ease and so fluidly! I would without a doubt recommend and use Starling Entertainments again and again!

We had booked a magician, our wedding band (Exclusive) and DJ through Starling Entertainment. We honestly couldn t have asked for things throughout the day to go any smoother. The magician kept the guests entertained during the meal, he was a bit hit with the kids. Exclusive played to the crowd and kept the floor dancing.

Booked "the coves" through Starling for our wedding. Efficient service, who answered all our questions and organised everything with the band. The band themselves were fantastic - kept people on the dance floor all night! Excellent service - highly recommend!

Erin McBride played for us at our son's wedding in 1st Ballymena Presbyterian Church on October 11th. Our church was being totally refurbished at this time and just having the assurance that if a piano or sound system was not available that Erin could provide this for us was such a relief
Erin played exactly what we asked for and was so professional throughout the whole wedding experience
When feeling stressed about the order of service etc, Erin replied to any emails or phone calls immediately

I met Neil at a wedding band showcase at The Galgorm, with a couple of my bridal party friends. Prior to this, we had already chosen /booked our band and harpist with him and communication was via email, FB and my wedding planner. Neil and his team were brilliant in all aspects during the wedding prep; The Fundamentals band excelled in their performance and Amy McAllister sang and played beautifully during the ceremony. Neil and his team were fantastic. Nothing was ever too much trouble. They kept in regular contact with me regarding every single detail etc. If you need anything at all these guys have it or will do their best to get it. Definately recommend.

Oh my goodness two weeks after my daughters wedding and everyone is still talking about Mark, the secret singer. Magnificent!!!
Mark appeared just after the main course of our meal by acting as a waiter, he tripped up dropping a large metal tray cutlery, everyone panicked and he just started into song,the guests couldn t believe it.
He does about six songs a few we picked ourselves and he certainly got the guests up on their feet it was brilliant and certainly broke the silences that can occur during the meal.
It was so easy to book and I would do it again in a heartbeat, well worth the money to give everyone including my daughter and son in law a nice surprise. What a singer?

I would highly recommend Starling Entertainments to anyone that has an upcoming wedding. They make everything so easy and communication and response to emails is excellent. They have a wide range of entertainment to choose from that will be sure to keep your guests entertained and all of the bands are excellent (only problem being they all so good its hard to choose!). We hired our photobooth, band/DJ (MOJO) and singers secreto via Starling and service was excellent. I would not hesitate to use them again for future events.

Following attending their showcase in the galgorm and reviewing information on their Facebook page and website we decided on The Promise. On the day, we couldn t have asked for better! Starling entertainment were great from start to finish. Their website was amazing for finding out which bands suited our style. We had MOJO band and DJ. Paula and the guys kept everyone on the dance floor. We also had a photo booth from Starling for after dinner, which was perfect and provided us with lots of photos and comments to look back on. Everything was so well organised, couldn t have asked for more.

We contacted Starling entertainment regarding recommendations for our band for our wedding. When looking through their website we then added Ionian String Quartet for our ceremony. Everyone of our guests commented on how amazing they were and are still commenting on them nearly a month later. There were a lot of song choice to pick from so it caters for a wide variety of people. We also added the photo booth which our guests really enjoyed and we received the book at the end with all the photos and comments from our guests. Our band was Freefall and they were brilliant and had everyone up on the dance floor from the start. On our R.S.V.P's we had song requests for our guests so that everyone had their favourite song to dance to. We emailed the DJ Mark Dobbin and this was no problem. Everyone's song was played and there was always someone on the dance floor dancing and having a great time.

I would definitely recommend Starling Entertainment for anyone's special occasions as they provide lots of services. Band, DJ, Photo booths, String Quartet, Harpists etc This was very helpful as I wasn't sure where to start looking for bands etc and we added extra which made our day that extra special

We had The Swing Brothers & The Manouche Boys play at our wedding in Harvey s Point in September. They were outstanding, they had the crowd moving at the drinks reception and then the floor did not empty when they started in the evening. They had a great interaction with the crowd.
