Great hospital and competent staff. Went in for inguinal pain but they didnt stop to check that pain they are so good that they found that i was afib and took care of that too so thank you St-Paul's and your great staff.

Truly St. Paul's emergency room staff were there when I needed it the most. I am a Californian and was on vacation in Vancouver when my prostate became inflamed, cutting off my bladder. For over 15 hours I could not urinate, eventually I took a cab to St. Paul's at 3 AM. Their staff "fast tracked" me through the Emergency Room and rapidly inserted a catheter, causing immediate relief. The Doctor in attendance ran a full set of tests and provided follow-on recommendations for care. By 6:00 am I was discharged, prescription in hand. Outstanding work, a caring team who were highly professional.

St Paul's and Providence Healthcare in general I have had only great experiences with. All outpatient testing I have had here has been very smooth, the technicians are always pleasant, the facilities are always clean, and it has never felt crowded.

I don't know where to begin. My mother who is in her late 80's has been admitted twice once in 2009 and then now 2016; the staff is absolutely great. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, Out of all the hospitals in Vancouver Area I would say St. Paul's is the best. The hospital staff, nurses and physicians humbly honour the name of the Saint it is named after by practicing sympathy, care and respect. Bravo. Merci
