When I called to clarify, I was told the broth comes from duck bones, yet the label lists no duck at all—just beef broth. It would be helpful if the label included a photo or clearer information so customers can see exactly what they are buying before purchasing. This lack of clarity in advertising and product labeling is quite disappointing.
I’m a bit let down by this purchase. The sausage seemed to be lacking in its classic mix—there were hardly any raisins, no prunes, and no duck meat, so it ended up tasting more like a simple beef broth. I might give it another shot just to verify that I didn’t happen to get a bad batch from Srodek & Campau Quality Sausage, but for now, it’s not quite what I expected.

The Golabki at Srodek's is honestly just as good as, if not better than, my own homemade version. Their Kielbasa is excellent too, and it is getting harder to find that kind of quality these days. My son introduced us to the shop back when he was living in Detroit, and we have been fans ever since.

This sausage is outstanding. I’ve been making it for holiday gatherings for years, always baking it, but I tried a crock pot this Christmas instead. I sliced it to my liking and the result was simply fabulous.
