Spirit Ranch

On June 29, 2014, my daughter's wedding took place at the Pavilion. From the beginning, there was great communication with Lauren all through the time until the big day. On the day of the wedding, the staff was ready to help with anything we needed. Everything went smooth and well and I (the bride's mother) did not feel pressuered or anxious about anything and I was able to enjoy one of the best days of my daughter's life! Thank you Spirit Ranch and all you all did to make this day very memorable!

Best BBQ in town. I remember eating here when it was County Line and The Roadhouse before that. Great food and atmosphere!

As a Wedding Planner, I just want to give a two thumbs up to Jessica Hall with The Spirit Ranch. Our wedding this weekend was absolutely fabulous and that is due in no small part to Jessica and her team. Complete and total pros!!!! Thanks a million for helping make everything run so smoothly!

I had my wedding at the Spirit Ranch a few weeks ago and everything was so perfect and beautiful and honestly exceeded my expectations! The food came out on time and was so delicious. Jessica made sure that I had everything I wanted and was patient in dealing with a few last minute details. Her staff that night were very polite and helpful to my guests. I will definitely be back!

BRIDAL and WEDDING PARTY BE!WARE!! Your special time is not worth the stress and hassle of dealing with the highly incompetent event planner Jessica. Price changing, lies, blaming staff and owner for last minute changes, promises made and not kept, late setup, starting time and ONE wait staff for 50 people. Detail after detail dropped on rehearsal dinner. Jessica did not show up to oversee or check on event. She was verbally rude to friends delivering flowers when we decorated earlier in day. Horsdoeuvres were missing and after asking were brought out after dinner was starting (20 minutes late). Requested cash bar of beer and wine only, bar setup 20 minutes late and brought hard liquor which we immediately sent back. Was obvious details were never communicated to this very small, overworked staff. NOTHING was as promised nor was it the waiter or bartenders fault. The worked hard to accommodate and dix mistakes. Kitchen sent picante sauce verses bbq sauce, left potato salad sitting out room temp for hours, dirty plates, no ice for drinks, dirty serving containers stored on floor in garage type space. Projector was 2 hours later than promised and delayed start time. Jessica even misspelled brides name on welcome sign. Nightmare!!! Go somewhere professional for far less the price. Sad to see a legacy venue be run into the ground by poor management and incompetent staff.

We booked this place for our daughters wedding and at the beginning Jessica was very helpful assured us that by mid August the grounds would be very plush green. Nope! Place was still a mess on the date of the wedding from a previous retreat that was held the day before. She verbally promised us things that were not kept. The caterer was caught red handed by both my daughters where he got a piece of her wedding cake with his hand. How gross and disrespectful is that? But ,again she said that he slightly touched the cake with his hand. Come on folks, it was in his mouth!!! There were alot of other things that I won't post, but you get the picupic right? My advice is I will not recommend this place to anyone . For the price we paid was a big disappointment

We sat at the table about 15 minutes before someone told us to scan the bar for menu.. The food was less than ordinary.. NEVER going back.. BAD BAD BAD

E & J's BBQ at Spirit Ranch. A must do for BBQ, a view, and a mini vacation too. The fountain, bridge, peacocks are a treat as well. Photo opportunities galore. This was formerly the County Line a local favorite.
Then it was Spirit Ranch which I assume still
operates on this large property. Open for lunch only for now, 11 to 3 Mon. To Friday.
After July 8th they plan to open in the evening as well. Loved the ribs, sausage and turkey. The Feast for $14 was enough for 3. Had to insulge in the Texas Sheet Cake too. If you live Chocolate, I highly recommend it. Again large enough to share for 2. A varied menu with options for every appetite as well as daily specials that sounded so delicious. I look forward to our next visit!
