About Spa-alzinc

ALZINC, the Société Algérienne du Zinc et dérivés, is an Algerian company based in Ghazaouet, Tlemcen, that produces electrolytic zinc and related by-products. It is the sole producer of pure zinc in Algeria, with an annual production capacity of 42,000 tonnes and an extraction rate of at least 95%. The company's manufacturing process includes roasting of zinc concentrate, leaching, purification, and electrolysis, yielding Special High Grade zinc (over 99.995% purity), zinc alloys, sulfuric acid, and copper cathodes. Its zinc is registered on the London Metal Exchange and is exported internationally, while its sulfuric acid is supplied to national clients in sectors such as chemicals and pharmaceuticals.
