We are currently staying in our motorhome. The layout of the park is great and the showers are clean and large but awful! If you are 7ft tall you might get a warm jet on the back of your neck. But the power is so strong by the time the water hits a 5ft 5 ordinary person you are misted with luke warm water. I couldn't wash my hair. Tomorrow I will need to take a jug into the shower with me to gather water at the fixed shower head. The weather is cold and i was sooo looking forward to a warm shower. I have been in better public swimming pool showers. Very disappointed and still cold.

This is a superb touring caravan site which offers a range of pitch types which are generous in size and complimented by the best toilet toilet/shower blocks you will find anywhere in this country. It is maintained meticulously and has a real 5 star feel in terms of the facilities on offer. It is located close to the A1 which makes it a perfect location from which to explore Northumberland's fabulous beaches, many castles and places of interest amongst miles of beautiful walking countryside and coastal paths. The park is an exceptionally friendly one and for those with children the play area and huge games field is safely positioned adjacent to the majority of the touring and tent pitches. We have just stayed for 2 weeks on a fully serviced pitch which was large enough to comfortably accommodate our twin axle van, awning and car with ample spare space to set up the obligatory table, chairs and BBQ!

Belford is a lovely small town within walking distance and offers all the usual amenities on the doorstep. Bus links from Belford (north and south) are good and allow for exploration without the car. I have been in both the main caravan clubs for many years and this site is up with the very best of anything either club offers in terms of standards, friendliness and the respectfulness of holiday neighbours. Try it, you won't be disappointed!

An Outstanding weeks holiday at South Meadows caravan park. One of the nicest sites we have visited in our caravan. Excellent pitches, very helpful staff, a great place to takes dogs with a huge play field for them to run around in and a 2 mile wooded walk next to the field. The facilities are spotless and all the showers and wash basins have free Shower gel and hand wash. Each pitch has plenty of space regardless of type. I would highly recommend this site to anyone. Plenty of great eating places nearby with a very good Farm shop and Deli eating establishment next door. Well done South Meadows.

Stayed here a few times last year and will definitely be going back. Staff very courteous and helpful, helped us to site our tourer and get it correctly levelled at no extra charge. Dog friendly - we have two German Shepherds. Amenities good onsite and near by. Not too far from sea and lovely beaches to let the dogs enjoy the water play. A lovely clean family orientated site. Definitely worth a visit.

A beautifully kept site. Facilities impeccably clean. Selection of hard standing and grass pitches for Motorhome, caravans & tents alike. Also have new camping pods for hire. Very well priced. Village is a short walk from the site and has a co-op. No shop on site though for basics. Ideally located for surrounding activities and tourist attractions

Great location not far from the A1 and some of Northumberland's most beautiful beaches. Nice-sized pitches, all with electric hook-up and clear markers. Wonderful facilities; clean and modern bathrooms (including 2 family shower rooms for families with young children) play area and great woodland walk round the far end of the site. We'll definitely be going back!

South Meadows is a wonderful campsite - immaculately maintained with friendly helpful staff. Pitch spacing is more then generous, all pitches have electric, the site is dog friendly and located within easy reach of so many local attractions. The site has made a conscious decision to appeal to customers who are looking for a relaxing and peaceful caravan and camping experience.

This is an excellent site and the whole setup is very slick and professional. We originally stayed in a motorhome and loved it and since then there have been many improvements, notably recent complete refurbishments and in some cases rebuilds of the shower and toilet facilities, which are excellent. Always loads of hot water for showering or pot washing, this place has everything you want in a rural location just outside the small town of Belford and close to the coast. We now store our motorhome under cover here and the service and organisation is just excellent, we hope to be associated with South Meadows for many years to come.

Just back from 9 nights at South Meadows Caravan Park and have to say we had a fabulous holiday, I can't rate the site highly enough.
The site was beautiful, very well cared for and the staff very helpful. We were in a touring caravan in the Willows and the pitches were of generous size and were very well spaced out. The facilities were also first class which definitely makes such a difference.
If you are a dog owner, there is woodland walks from the site and a large playing field to exercise them which is ideal.
There is lots to do in the surrounding areas with the village of Belford a short walk away.

All in all a brilliant site and we'll worth a visit.
This was our first time on the site and will definitely not be our last.
Thanks to all the hard working staff for a very pleasant holiday.

After years of use of this site in the statics we experienced the touring pitches facilities whilst traveling in a motorhome. The set up is second to none. It came as no surprise that they were immaculately clean and very well equipped. The best we have seen whilst using touring pitches. Highly recommended.

This is a site that we return to time and time again why because it is quite the staff are very helpful and friendly and nothing is too much bother for them. The toilet block is immaculate and there is always someone making sure it is clean. We like the site that much that we have now stored our caravan there so that we can just go anytime we want now and not have to worry about towing the van there.

I would recommend this site to anyone.

Visited this site twice over the last 6 weeks.
A lovely well maintained touring site. Good sized pitches and friendly staff.
Just experienced one problem on both visits.
Although there are beautiful toilet/shower blocks. The water was practically cold and so was the temperature in the building.
4 small solar panels is not enough to cope with such a large amount of people, especially when the weather isn't Sunny.
