Pathetic service!! Had our names waiting at the airport at transfer desk. We received our vouchers and a message with our confirmation numbers. On the way to hotel, we get a call saying no booking is made (despite vouchers in our hand) . They say they havent had our names down..despite it obviously being at their desks and on our confirmation letters. Sitting in the lobby still waiting for them to sort out and take responsibility but getting told we must sort, despite payment having been made two weeks ago ! Dont ever use this agency...mistakes happen but the fact that noone wants to fix their mess up is pathetic.
Deveran- our driver, took us on a day tour to explore Mauritius. He drove us to the volcano site, ship factory, chasmire factory, waterfall, Hindu temple, 7 colours of earth, Chamarel rum distillery and a picnic stop at the national park. He spoke English and French. He is very friendly, professional and very knowledgeable about the country. He shared with us history of Mauritius, languages, culture, different religions, structure of education and health systems. We had a great day and an amazing experience exploring the country. Mervin, our transfer driver to the airport was a great driver and very friendly. He was very helpful and talked to us about the Mauritian way of life all the way to the airport.
Very expensive to book excursions. Telling you its busy you wont get place elsewhere. Much cheaper places to book almost half their prices. I must add they do have excellent and polite drivers and good vehicles.
